I'm doing a full reread/edit on C30, 31 and 32. C33 will be going in a second, I see a LOT of grammatical errors (green squiggly lines under phrases, etc) I need to double check... Seeing them is driving me bonkers.... Smiley

No kidding!
I thought about proofing tonight but I'm still feeling a bit wiped out so I decided to make it tomorrow's project while I get caught up on the laundry. I need to get the kids coats out and check them out. The weatherguy is talking "chance of frost" on Monday morning. They won't need them this week but it looks like chilly fall weather is closing on us fast....

Morning. I'm here too. We decided to stay home today since most of our Saturday errands are already done, it being vacation and all. We'll probably go into Martinsville for lunch and maybe stop at Walmart before coming home. I'm going to be making a dent in the laundry, the dishes that have accumulated and whatever else needs to be done while proofing Book 1.

Smiley  I dropped in last night and did some catching up but when I went to post I hit the wrong button and "Poof!!"  it disappeared!!  So I figured I better try again once I had some sleep Smiley

Skyrim is a gorgeous game.. I don't play it but my son does and he always chuckles because I get sucked into watching it!!

I'm glad y'all are plugging away at your books because I am really looking forward to the time that I can read them Smiley

I've been a bit overwhelmed lately, which is why I haven't been in.  I was a bit freaked out when we found out Mom actually did have 2 heart attacks while she was in the hospital for her surgery here and they didn't catch it even though she told them about the numbness and chest pain.  Then she told me I didn't want me to talk to anyone about it just in case family found out that she didn't want to know, it is a huge family, you never know who may know someone.  She got a clean bill of health from the Dr when she was in a couple days ago though so that's good.  I'm still kind of freaked out though :|. 

We had a hard frost last night so I had to pick the small amount of tomatos I did manage to grow this year.  Looks like fried green tomatoes, pickles and maybe a cake.  Not much at all this year.  The basil froze hard, even under cover but all my other spices are fine.  I'm going back out in a few to cut back the frozen bits and see if I can get a couple more weeks out of my plants. 

Have you posted any pics of the wardrobe Penth?  Would love to see it! 

VE, I haven't cleaned a VCR/DVD combo before but I have done our VCRs over the years.  Q-tips, rubbing alcohol and a very soft shammy/micro cloth work well.  As long as the heads are still in alignment, a good cleaning should do the trick Smiley  It's also having the patience to make sure it is totally dry before trying it out!  Hope the hubby can get it up and running again soon Smiley

Smiley RT!! When it rains, it pours, I swear!!

We have cleaned the VCR side of it several times but there's a problem getting a tape into it the carrier itself is out of alignment. It's so out of whack that it's also messing up the DVD side of the darn thing, it won't stay on for more than a couple of minutes, shut itself off and won't restart for a while, not even when one hits the Power button. Roll Eyes I have to watch DVDs on the computer right now. Kind of a pain when the little guy wants the computer and I'd rather veg in my comfy armchair with Fatso on the lap. Roll Eyes

Thanks. Penth's in the process of getting her first novel out on Amazon (I THINK!) and I'm helping her with the graphics end of it, and I'm hoping to help her with the graphics end of all of her published work if I can!

NR is plugging along, slowly but surely, as I imagine you've seen in FB. Wink I'm SLOWLY getting there, hopefully I'll have Draft1 finished in the near future. Cheesy

I also did something EBIL today.... It's nothing bad, just a very subtle potshot... With a photon torpedo. I don't badmouth anyone or anything, I just state a point about MY writing, that's all. Smiley It's in my newest blogspot blog entry, near the end of it.

My sister is gonna FREAK.

Morning.

I was going to go visit my mom while she's down at my uncle's for the weekend this morning but they're going to the city for my grandmother's 85th birthday. She's still hanging on, bless her, and although I am unable to go with them, I told my mom to give her our love. We're going to see if I can visit Mom, Aunt and Uncle for a bit after they get back later today, depending on how tired they are and what time they get back. Cheesy

So now that I know I won't be going during the main part of the daytime, I'll be here, doing housework, getting ran over by that wacky kitty of ours and hopefully editing NR if I feel up to it. I don't think I'll be getting any new stuff added but we'll see. I'm still trying to figure out where to put in a chapter/scene break in the stuff I wrote up on Friday so I may concentrate on doing that between things, IF I can get enough peace and quiet to do it... Roll Eyes

Time to get another coffee, get some laundry chucked into the washer and get caught up!

*sigh* Skywise and I decided to take today off from "vacation" but Spirit thinks we should go somewhere. We've also decided that a third trip to Louisville this year isn't in the cards and she's not going to like that either but SHE gets to curl up in the backseat and sleep while her father does the driving. It's a four hour round trip of which Skywise has had enough of this year. So we'll be staying home and vegging today -- dinner out is planned -- and I'll be here all day.
