And since he's so big, that could cause problems with keeping stuff on the computer desk unless y'all did some "Sunlord-proofing"! That cat is gorgeous but he's BIG!!!

My desk is small and cluttered. Fatso doesn't have any room to lay on it, except for on top of the monitor, you've seen pics of that! (My random, automatic orange and black striped monitor duster!) I have a Pentium 90 on it, on which my monitor sets, my keyboard and my wrist rest/mouse pad and my speakers, and it's FULL. I barely have enough room on here to put a glass of soda or cup of coffee!

Sunlord would NOT like it at my place because he would NOT have ANY room on my desk at all! LOL

My niece is a very smart young lady, pretty too. She's more like me than her mother will ever admit and loves a good book... However, with her mother being so gaga over certain "series" out there, she's influenced by that. I am hoping to influence her as much as I can from an hour away by car.

It's ebil because my sister is always screaming that I will "never accomplish" my dream of being a published author and my taste in books, movies, etc "stinks"... And I know she'll get a hornet up her tush over that status because she knows I don't care for HER taste in "books" and "movies"....

Oh yeah. If she's wanting to rant while I'm focusing my energy on my writing and helping you here and with your graphics designs, etc, that's up to her. I don't have time to pay attention to her whining.

I have much bigger and better things to use my energy on!

Morning.

Three hours of sleep. That's it. My own stupid fault though. 

I'll be seeing my mom after Son gets on the bus this morning. They're leaving for the Valley around 9 or so and it's either go right after Son's on the bus or not see her at all.

I'll be here until then. I need coffee, by the gallon, please. 

Going to go see my mom at Aunt and Uncle's house for a little bit. Be back in an hour or so.

My life for the last year and a half has not been mine, it's been his.  I've had no control.  And I've been in denial about that.  I've been miserable.  And I've been in denial about that, too.

Abuse is... odd.  It does things to your mind that you never really knew were possible.  I never would have thought that I'd be the kind of person to put up with it, but I was.  For the entirety of our marriage, I put up with the emotional and mental abuse.  And since January, I've been putting up with physical abuse.

All in the name of love.

This last time was just that.  The last time.  I've filed a complaint with the police.  I have a PPO against him.  He's moved out of the city, and is back living with his mother, who will not let him hit rock bottom (which is what he really needs).  But he's not here with me, not putting me through hell.

Yes, there were good times.  When we were good, it was amazing.  But those good times got fewer and fewer.  The fights were more and more frequent.

And when the last fight ended with me spending half the night in the hospital, getting x-rays to make sure my ankles and hand weren't broken, it was time to give up before something did get broken.  Or worse.

And it took my son, my 14-year-old son, stepping in and saying, "Mom, I cannot watch you go through this anymore.  Leave him or lose me."  And I could not lose my son.  So my son confronted him.  Told him to leave.  That no one wanted him here anymore.  That everyone was tired of watching him treat me so badly, when I gave him everything I had.

So it's over.  I'm still dealing with that.  My heart still screams to not let go, there's still hope, it's not over... but I know that's just not possible.  At all.  Because things have occurred in such a way that if we ever get back together, his family will never speak to him again, and mine will never speak to me again.  Period.
