I love it! Chef Ramsay is so funny when he's on a tear... It is probably VERY tough to work under him like that but the chefs on HK are professionals and are SUPPOSED to know how to cook, etc. That's why he flips out so easily. The first time Hubby watched it with me, he sat on the chair and blinked for a while then cracked up... More than half of the rant was bleeped out and I was just sitting there laughing watching Hubby's reaction. Quite funny!  Smiley

Watching him on something like MasterChef is something completely different. He's in "teacher mode" and is a lot more gentle, because everyone on that are amateur chefs and he knows that they can easily make a lot more mistakes and don't have the training for "fine dining" like the gang on HK does. From what I've heard, he's really a great guy but one does NOT want to work for him because his standards are VERY high. Anything less, consider yourself dog food! LOL

Speaking of cheeky cats, WP decided that she was going to swat the Queen when she went by. I swear, one of the these days the Queen is gonna have enough and tabby fur is going to fly!

Exactly, and that's a good part of why I like him.

Smiley I did more excavating in the basement this evening. I cleared enough space so I could move a couple of things that gave me access to an area I want to work on and I've gotten the ironing board on top of my new cabinet so I can work on it. NOW I can get the pad tacked on -- with carpet tacks. All I have to do now is remember where I put the tack hammer! *sigh* I also threw a few things away and sacked up a bunch of VERY old newspapers that escaped from the grocery sack that they were once in. I also got some electrical cords laid out like I want them after I got myself untangled from them!
Time to catch my breath before I start working on dinner.

Afternoon.

We got all our "stuff" done this morning so tomorrow -- Moonie's birthday -- we won't have anything to do except go to lunch and do what she wants to do. We've been home for a while but I've been putting stuff away, answering phones and catching up.

Yeah, only one person is gonna be surprised!  Smiley

I got fed up with looking for the tack hammer so I put the padding on the ironing board with the regular hammer. I didn't escape unscathed though. The center (longest) leg fell on my hand as I was working at the very end. I expect to have a very nice bruise on my left hand before too much longer. But. At least I can move on to the next part -- the cover that I will actually iron on.
