Just did a copy/paste of the UH OH part into a new file. Since I'm going to be tweaking it a LOT, I want to keep the old draft and have the newer one as well for comparison. The old version will be moved into the "Spliced" folder and the new version will remain in the general Book 2 file.

The fun part begins.........................  Smiley

I'm going to be tweaking my workstation design. The pieces are not EXACTLY square and consequently aren't matching up EXACTLY so I'm going to have to be very careful with the fitting. PLUS, when the small units are put back to back with the large unit, it is fractionally longer than 48 inches and the piece of wood I intend to use as a base for the top is 48 by 48 inches..... This will require some thought.....

Morning. CSI was good last night and the big twist in it wasn't that big of a surprise. I watched it at 8 our time, because I had peace and quiet, Son went to bed early for a change.

I didn't do that bad this week writing wise despite not having an official "writing day". I managed to get over a chapter of new stuff added, and that's pretty darn good in my opinion.

It's an editing, polishing and fixing problems day writing wise for me today. I'm probably going to be ultra quiet by times.

That's after I get more liquid caffeine into me. Tongue

I said something about garlic toast on Facebook and it kinda brought back something my father in law used to tease us with each time we mentioned food or being hungry...

"Good soup with garlic, and mucho vino!"

It used to drive my mother in law nuts. It got so bad she was threatening to make him garlic soup (as in just boiling garlic in water for a while) and give it to him for supper sometime. Smiley She never actually did it, mind you, but if Hubby started driving me crazy with that, he KNOWS I'd really do it to him. Heh.  Smiley

My inlaws are nuts, in a GOOD way!  Smiley

Skywise is out with the cats and the girls are still in their rooms. It's looks like it's going to be another stay close to home day which is fine with me as long as we get into town to pay the electric bill! I have a ton of dishes to do and I want to start doing what I can on the workstation but first, I need tea and something to eat!

Hi Penth.

I'm setting Book 2 aside for now, my brain doesn't want to comprehend it right now. I'm going to work on getting Book 1 ready again. I got up to Chapter 5 on it the other day and it's been set aside while I had writing time this week. I want to get this last once over done so I'm going to plug away on that for a while if my brain will work.

If not, I'll just play games in FB or do a little more housework. Hubby has the day off again, and he's quietly watching TV. He's not feeling well (cold) so he's basically staying in the living room on his favorite chair and trying to rest a little bit.

Sorry to hear he's under the weather. I'm trying to get the kitchen squared away. The dishes have kinda piled up while we were running around and it's time to "pay the piper." Even with a dishwasher, this is gonna take a while....

That's what I was doing Tuesday after I finished my writing time that day. Things got a little backed up here because I was walking around like a zombie when I wasn't writing, so I wound up having to spend a LONG time at the stupid sink, washing dishes. EW.

There are not that many today thank the gods, so I'm going to let them go until after supper. I'm not washing only 2 plates, three glasses, two mugs, a fork, a cutting board and the pizza cutter. They can wait until I toss in the supper dishes too. Tongue

I'm feeling rather lazy right now.

We're out of clean plates so I pretty much have to wash them before we can eat. We have a few bowls and lunch plates clean but the dinner plates and most of the silverware is in the sink. *sigh*

Okay, I'm here for another couple of hours. See you later.

On another note, Hubby brought home some onion dip last night. I don't like it. It has an aftertaste and flavor in it that my palate thinks is disgusting. It could be the onion soup mix in it. GROSS.

So I'm looking for low fat, low salt homemade onion dip recipes that do NOT have onion soup mix in it. I've found a few and may even try one or two of them.

I wonder if I can convince Hubby to get five pounds of Spanish onions on his way home tomorrow????

Son was nailed, big time, screams were VERY loud and he isn't happy.

We've been cleaning, on the off chance we get company. One of Hubby's American cousins was going to visit but isn't sure now that she knows Hubby isn't feeling great. We cleaned up anyway, to be safe.

We went into the city to get Skywise's paycheck, stopping for breakfast on the way up. We made several stops on the way back, went into town to deposit his check, stopped at the Kroger and FINALLY made it home. Next up: tea and a certain amount of collapsing.
