I'm heading out in about 15 minutes. I have a lot to do before CSI comes on at 8, and that includes homework time for Son. Where Hubby is working this evening, I have to do all of it before I take Son to bed, and that includes watching my favorite show.

Thank the stars I do NOT have to do more than snacks and juice for his lunch tomorrow, that's going to save me a few minutes.

Son's supper is almost ready so I'm going to head out now and start getting things ready for homework time while he's eating... While he's absorbed in his math problems, I'll be doing the remainder of the dishes and getting a few other things for morning out of the way.

Found another way to complicate the Heroine's life and got a bit of it written. Just not sure where in the timeline it goes although I know it has to come after a specific event.

Morning.

CSI's 300th episode was a lot better than its 200th. Nicky wasn't in it (WHAAAA!!) but it was still good and had a great storyline. They even showed a few scenes from past shows at the end of it. *SNIFF!*

I'm here for part of the morning then offline for a couple of hours while I TRY to write a little bit. It's the only time I'll have to write this week and I'm darn well going to try to get at least part of a scene written up.

Afternoon.
We're here, tired and broke but we hit the jackpot in the grocery store. In addition to what we went in to get, we got our turkey for Thanksgiving and the beef roast for Christmas dinner -- which is why we're "over budget". Plus Spirit got four bags of Halloween candy. Smiley So the next two major "feast days" are taken care of as far as the main course is concerned. I will now collapse.....

I'm still working on Chapter 45. It's slow going because Son is home and it's not fully quiet here, which breaks the concentration. *SIGH* Almost done though!

Thanks. I'm kinda stuck at the moment and where Hubby just called from work, I'm going to put things aside for now and rest the eyes.

Son was VERY good this afternoon, he was so quiet and behaved! Cat was the one distracting me more than him. LOL

This is going to make our Penth and Moonie MELT...

Son is curled up on my chair with a blanket over him. Cat is snuggled up on his lap and she is smooching him and purring like crazy! He is kissing her a lot and the more kisses she gets, the louder she purrs. SO CUTE!!

The rest of the aftermath will be in 46 and maybe I'll end that one with something ultra happy... Not sure if there is only one chapter or two left before the epilogues. I'll have to see how things go as I start tying up all of the loose ends.. Hmm...........

Hubby is home and between me being cross eyed and the fact I wrapped up most of a chapter today, I'm out of it and in NO shape to be around right now. I'm going to sign out and let Hubby play on the computer for a while and get supper on the go and just veg away from it.

In case I don't make it back tonight, have a great night everyone. I'll be back in the morning, Son doesn't have school so it will be a little later than the usual 6 a.m sign in time. Cheesy

While in Bloomington today, we experienced the first "snow shower" of the season.
It isn't even HALLOWEEN YET!! I am NOT psychologically prepared for SNOW this early in the year!

Another thing: apparently there is considerable solar flare activity going on and I'm expecting interference with my satellite connection if the solar storms are bad. Just a heads up in case I'm not here when I should be.

I was bored and decided to come back in for a bit. There's something I want to download, I have enough MB left in my "lowest" monthly allowance to do so and I'm going to do it. Tongue

It's going to take a bit to get so I'll be doing an edit/reread of what I wrote up today while the computer is getting it. THEN I'll be doing a backup of certain files on the hard drive, notably my manuscripts!

Okay, hon. I'm gonna be quiet myself. I'm doing a few "non-book" things between bouts of getting the kitchen organized. Some things that haven't been used in a while need a light cleaning before they're put away in the workstation.

Well, considering all of the hard work I've put in on the books lately I think I deserve a little "something extra"... In fact, with the file size, I can get TWO downloads in tonight and I'll be starting the second one shortly, after the first one is done. Heh. Cheesy It's slow on the turbo stick but still a LOT faster than it would have been on the dial up if I still had it! LOL

I did the calculations and I had a full GB left until my monthly refill tomorrow. Darn straight I'm gonna burn a few MB and enjoy ALL of it! Hot dang, and YUM. Wink

First one is done and second is underway. Book 2 is open and I'm doing a quick reread of the last couple of chapters, to make sure everything is lined up perfectly. Heh. Cheesy
