The last pan of them is in the oven NOW and when they're done, I'm going to go relax with Cat for a while. The right hand is REALLY acting up and the left one is almost as bad. Aspirin and a large glass of decaf diet Pepsi sound sooooooooooooooooooooooo good right now..............

Afternoon.
We did our "usual Saturday stuff" today. Spirit expressed a need for "normal" and since Skywise heads back to work on Monday, it wasn't a big deal to do it.
I put some longer ribbons on my mask last night in a different position and it feels better and I can get a snugger fit which makes me happy. Now when next I hit Hobby Lobby, I'll have to see if they still have foam display heads so I can get one to properly display the mask.....

I fully get how Spirit wants "normal"... I've been wanting that for a few weeks now!!

On that note the last batch is out of the oven, Son can be quiet about wanting what I made now (I made them, enough said!) and I just popped a few aspirin.

Time to go cuddle with the world's snuggliest orange and black tabby girl. Not sure if I'll be back or not, it all depends on how I'm feeling. If I don't make it back, have a great night all.

The right hand didn't stop hurting until.... Well, it's still hurting now, despite numerous doses of aspirin and applications of ice packs.

I am NOT making another double batch of those cookies for a VERY long time... I'll probably be paying up for it for another few days at this rate. Sad

I'm going to be quiet today, Doctor Who starts at 11 my time and all three of us are going to be glued to the tube to some extent.

Jotting down a few ideas in the ideas file for Book 2... I've figured out how and why something happens finally and it will come in later on in the book.

Morning. It's raining. A nice gentle rain with a light breeze and no "fireworks." Just the way I like it!

Smiley It turns out that putting the temporary top on the workstation was a good idea. I was lounging in bed when Skywise called me into the kitchen. I round the corner and there was SunLord, stretched out on the workstation. I have a feeling that covering the countertop with ceramic tile is a good idea 'cause if he makes a habit of lounging on it, I'll be wiping it down with a bleach solution every time I use it.
Oh well, he's a big Lovey-boy and he's worth it!

Time for tea and a bite to eat. The rain is nearly past us so we might go into town later. Don't know yet. It's Sunday so anything is possible.

Sunlord is also big and gorgeous. Just saying!

Our baby is curled up snoozing in one of her favorite spots. She and I will have cuddle time after a bit, probably when Hubby gets home from town. He's visiting his mom right now, and will be bringing home Rocket Bowl. I kinda sent it down so Bro could install it on their laptop but forgot to get it back. OOPS. At least I'll have one of the three games we're missing on the new system... I still can't find either version of Bejeweled I have though, and I'm TICKED. *SIGH*

If the cat or cats approve, it's a keeper. Or it is in our house at least. LOL

Son isn't paying attention to Doctor Who at the moment. The Daleks are on and he's not a big fan of them. Personally I think they're rather stupid and are more or less the comedic relief out of the Doctor's villains.

They've said some of the kookiest stuff on the show... Like saying something about "Pest Control" in relation to the Cybermen. That little scene made my husband crack up and he's still laughing about it!  Smiley

I don't get a feeling of menace from them either. The one that scares me the most out of all of the Doctor's foes are probably the Weeping Angels or the Cybermen.

Yeah it is. They've had the Daleks around since the 1960s or so, and others have come in along the way but most of the ones that are on now have been on there on and off since the beginning of the series back in 1963.

I know it. They've even redone a lot of the villains to coordinate with the newer series (2005- present).

I know Wikipedia isn't exactly accurate most of the time, but this will give you a good idea of all of the villains The Doctor has met over the years. There are more like the Cybermen and Daleks but they're on another list. These are the organic ones, I THINK.

I'm back. I went up to the Guest House to cut the support pieces for the cookbook stand. I had to cut the piece of wood diagonally and that took a while and my hands are tired!
