	The UT-UT is loaded in the van along with the chairs. It was a tight fit but they're in there. The back bench seat is folded down so Spirit will have to sit next to her sister. I'm pretty sure that she can stand it for the length of time it will take us to get to town and then back. LOL! I'll throw some drinks into the cooler just before we leave. I'm not taking much since we won't be there all that long.

	Dinner is almost ready and the fireworks start at 10 so I figure that we'll be leaving in about an hour or so. It will take us a while to get to a parking space once we get to town.

	FURIOUS!! I just opened the bag of hot dog buns THAT I BOUGHT YESTERDAY and found MOLD on all of them! And the freshness/best by date was 7/1/14. I threw them out. It isn't worth going all the way to Bloomington to return them. Hot dogs without buns just aren't the same......

	We're back. The fireworks lasted an hour and were great -- best they've been in several years. Of course the weather helped. We had to take a bit of a detour to get out of town, part of our regular route is torn up for utility work. Time to get root beer and get caught up one last time before bed.

	Hot and humid here today... and we slept in :S The crest of the flooding has slowed a bit, it's now expected around midnight . Barring any extra rain the dykes should hold so that is a big relief. Have a mountain of laundry to conquer though so better get back at it!

	It's warm but not too humid which is good 'cause Skywise is working on the front porch roof of the Guest House and it turned out to need more work than he thought. He's been working and I've been keeping him supplied with Gatorade and finding the tools he needs and hasn't seen in years.

	The porch roof is finished. Skywise is exhausted and I have NEVER seen him so dirty. His arms are LITERALLY black. I've told him three times to stop talking and hit the shower. He's finally seen himself in the mirror, announced that he looks like hell -- he does! -- and he's got the shower going so he "should" be fit for human company shortly.

	Chuckles! Nothing nicer than a great shower or bath after a hard and dirty days work! Still humid here... So I'm having fun trying to make myself look human. A friend of A's is performing at a local pub tonight as the opening act for a band and I'm trying to make myself presentable enough to go. I think I'll just end up braiding this mop on my head and hiding it under my baseball cap

	I am done throwing dice and crunching numbers. I "may" have worked up more data than I'll need but I won't be absolutely sure until I have everything sorted by weapon type and strength minimum -- that's the amount of "strength" you need in the game to handle the weapon in question effectively. Needless to say that's very important and NOT dependent on your "real life" strength. If it were, I'd be in big trouble! LOL As it is, I'm beat so I'm going to head out and get some sleep. My knees have been killing me all day and I took some aspirin after dinner. Hopefully, I'll be able to sleep. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. Since we couldn't do it yesterday -- cause working on the porch roof took Skywise all day to complete -- we did our usual Saturday stuff on Sunday. The best part of doing THAT was being able to get butter pecan ice cream at Ritter's on the way home. They only have it on Sunday. Now to get caught up.

	Been getting caught up with things. Skywise has most of the mess from his roofing project cleaned up. I added something to the Utility Transport that the field test revealed that was needed. I'll be looking at bigger/different wheels the next time we're in Rural King. I like the ones that are on it but they can't handle an uneven sidewalk of which there are many in town. I put the clothes Skywise was wearing yesterday through two complete wash cycles and an extra rinse. They're in the dryer now and I HOPE they're clean! And I'll be starting dinner as soon as this last load of clothes is done.

	I've finished putting the shelf braces on the second side of the storage unit. I need to drill some holes prior to assembly but other than that, it's ready to put together. Which means I'll be spending the next two or three days making enough space in the basement to put it together 'cause there is NO WAY IN HELL we can carry that thing down here after it is put together. It makes the mirror "wall" look like a five pound sack of flour. So it will have to be assembled in the basement right in front of where I intend to put it. Yeah, it's going to be "interesting...." 	I hear thunder and there is a sizable storm moving in so I expect to go "poof" pretty soon. Nothing severe is expected but it rain will probably be heavy enough to knock me offline for a while. I'll check in when I can.

	Survived Hurricane Arthur! High winds, not much rain, but man what a mess! Trees were and still are down everywhere. We lost power three times on Saturday... It would go down, come back up and go down again. Last time it went down, it was a 6 hour outage, and the phone was out during that time too. Cell phone airwaves are NOT working well at all either, and that means the turbo stick is spotty at best. Making my rounds quick today before it dies again. There are still people in other areas without power and won't get it until tomorrow or even Thursday. That was one damaging storm. Heading out now so the turbo stick doesn't go POOF while I'm in here... See y'all later!
