Hi, hon! I'm having to be VERY stern with myself about it and I'm trying to cut back. There are a few profiles that I MUST check every day but once I've done that, I try to stay away from it.

We hit the ground running this  morning. Now we're back and Skywise is getting ready to leave....

I've been filling in forms for the larp. My eyes are killing me so I'm going to get prone -- which the knees will also like -- and rest them for a while.

I realized that I'd left something important out of the larp and I've been correcting that. I got some of the package deals filled in so I am making progress. Anyway, dinner is over, Skywise is home and I'm heading out.

I've been plugging away at the larp, filling in one table after another. And the more I work the more things I realize HAVE to be included because if I don't things that I've already included won't make sense. Yes, this rulebook is gonna be in excess of 400 pages.
Also asking myself how would I take over the world if I had around 500 years to do it. The things a writer has to think about....

You two are so right about facebook.  It's a definite time-suck :/  I try to use it mostly for good, missing people, missing animals...  It's still the easiest way for me to keep in touch with all the different people I know though, so it's a necessary evil.   Without local tv here anymore, fb and twitter are the best bet for local news including emergencies.   

It's been a busy week.  The youngest turned 19.  He is enjoying his last summer of freedom before he has to "grow up"  Our roof has been done!  The cedar shade looks so much better than the grey did!  Not too light, not too dark and it sets the brick off nicely!  My latex allergy is working over-time though :S  Every time the house heats up, all you can smell is rubber :/ .  I know it's just a matter of time before it wears off but it really takes the energy right out of me. 

I'm really hoping that I'm winning the battle against the rodents because I  haven't caught a mouse in about 5 days now.  I'm sincerely hoping it's not because they've gotten smarter!

I'm half drowned but my hair is red. Skywise said it was time and Spirit left a dye applicator on my bathroom vanity...
So I broke down and did it!

I am in a state of chocolate bliss and I'm going to head out.

While we were in town, I got more pvc pipe for the window well drain. I'll probably be working on that this weekend if it doesn't rain or as soon as we hit a stretch of dry weather.

I got two more tables filled in for the larp last night. They were MUCH easier to do than the price lists which I'll be getting back to when I feel the need to numb my brain.....

The rain's stopped. We had a nice gentle rain for most of the afternoon and now I'm sitting here with the back door open listening to the bugs of the late summer night. Very peaceful.

Oh joy! Oh bliss! Oh ! We just got home, Skywise turned the engine off and..... nothing happened. The engine kept right on running....
He checked a few things and finally pulled a plug that shut everything down and when he put it back the engine didn't restart. We're pretty sure that it's the ignition. *sigh* The shop is closed until Monday so we'll have it towed then. Hopefully, the bill won't be TOO much....
