	We got some things at Menards and I FINALLY have the right pieces for the window well drain so I will only have to do minimal digging to install it -- the old drain has to be dug up and the ditch extended so the water will flow out quickly if the gutters overflow and flood the well. I probably won't get to it until next week, it's supposed to rain every day until about Wednesday....

	Had tea. Had lunch. Bought a tarp to cover my archery target stand to protect it from the elements when I'm not punching holes in it with arrows. Gave up and turned the A/C on. The temp's going up along with the humidity. Still have a slight headache. Gonna lay down for a while, maybe that and the A/C will help.

	Morning. I've been up for a while getting caught up and having tea. It's cloudy, dreary and humid today. Rain is expected at any time during the day. I figure that I won't be able to get the window well drain replaced or the archery target set up until mid-week at the soonest so I guess I'll have to work on something else. I'm definitely going to spend some time shoveling other people's emotional "sludge" out of my energy field. THAT is a task worthy of one of Hercules' Twelve Labors but it's my own fault for letting people unload their "stuff" on me. sigh Oh well, live and learn. Hopefully, I've learned.

	The van has been picked up and the target stand moved into the backyard and washed down -- it was muddy. We're thinking about some design "enhancements" so I likely won't get it put up today. I need some weatherproof screws and the drill....

	"Thunder" has moved on but I'm still conserving megabytes so I'm not gonna be real talky tonight. I did some meditating, walking, minor building and book repair while offline and also added a few lines to Book 4 that occurred to me while I was working so it's all good.

	Morning. We heard from the auto shop about an hour ago. We were right about what is wrong with it and it will be fixed today and we'll pick it up tomorrow. It's cool and humid which is making me sleepy even though I woke up a little more than an hour ago. There may be a nap in my future....

	Being a bit crazy, we made a special trip into town just to have lunch. The van should be done by this afternoon so we'll pick it up tomorrow, have lunch and pick up a few things at Walmart. Having made some changes and set some boundaries AND priorities, I'm finding that I have a lot more time for things like walking, meditating, writing and fun stuff in general. And I gotta admit, not having to deal with other people's drama -- about which I can do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING -- takes some getting used to but my mental state is improving wonderfully.

	The sound you hear is me hitting my head against the wall. The van won't be ready until next week at the earliest. When the guy went in to replace the part of the ignition that was broken, he found another broken piece. Which has to be gotten from a salvage yard. Fortunately they found one and it's on the way but won't be here until Friday. No idea how much more it will cost. sigh We're going to have to replace both the car and the van in the next couple of years and if we hadn't already put a new engine in the van last winter, I'd be lobbying for looking for a van now but we did so we're going to have to stick it out. For another year or two at least. sigh

	Sitting here doing some editing on the larp -- which doesn't require a lot of brainpower as I'm just making the layout look pretty -- and talking with Moonie about the last Mercury Retrograde, it's effect on personal relationships and the resulting upheaval. Some of her online friends are having a rough time of it.

	There is a lot to be said for old fashioned "pen and notebook" journaling. It's as private as you want it to be for one thing. For another, it lets you organize your thoughts and records your progress at doing that. It's patient. You can work through whatever you have to work through and take as long as you need. At no point will your journal tell you to "get over it" when it grows tired of the process and you are no way near ready to be "over" whatever it happens to be. You can talk about what interests you or bothers you or whatever even if no one else shares that interest or concern. Best of all, a journal is non-judgmental. It will not mock you. Or humiliate you. It will keep your secrets -- as long as you keep it from the hands of busybodies and the envious or jealous.�It will respect your dreams and your hope and yes, even your pain. It will never shame you or make you feel inferior -- or attempt to do so -- for its own benefit. Keep it safe and your journal will never turn on you. Yes, there is a lot to be said for "offline" journals. It's time I got back to mine....
