	I'm here finally. The Queen and SunLord are in excellent health (His Lordship weighs 16.5 pounds, none of it fat!) and now their shots are up to date. We'll take the kits and the Prince in for their checkups on Tuesday. We came home, dropped the kitties off and headed back for town. We paid the mortgage and then went to Bloomington for lunch and groceries. We are now back and I'm gonna collapse! Later.

	Here finally. Got up "too early" (at least it felt like that) and took off for town. I remembered all the bank books (4 of them) but forgot my shopping list. Fortunately I remembered almost everything on it. Had to do an "unfriend" on facebook. A local business owner on my friends list has been arrested and is being held without bond (last I heard) in the local jail on four counts of sexual misconduct with a minor among other nasty things. sigh It's sad because over an above the legal allegations, his store was a place where kids could hang out and play games in a town that has few such places. According to facebook, the store's open today but I wonder how long that will be the case.

	The majority of my sewing patterns and related supplies are in the storage unit, missing shelves notwithstanding. Most of the patterns are in flat plastic boxes which stack very easily so the lack of shelves isn't a problem. Now I get to figure out the next step in the basement excavations. Much shifting around of stuff is anticipated. I'm not expecting to make any real headway until I get the bookshelves built -- a project I probably won't be able to start on until October although I fully intend to get the bulk of the materials bought and stored up at the Guest House in the next couple of weeks. Right now, I need tea and to crash until the dryer stops.....

	Skywise is on his way. He forgot that he was supposed to leave at 3. Understandable since he'll be leaving at 5 the rest of the week and 1:30 next week. Thank the Gods the week after that is vacation until the end of September. I was looking at an 8 foot long folding table in Walmart today and I think I'll be getting it once there is room to store it/set it up downstairs. Entirely too often I have a large sewing project to lay out and not a long enough space to lay it out on. An 8 ft. table (which is 2 ⅔ yards in "sewing speak") would come in very handy at those times, especially when you really need to keep your fabric off the floor. It's a little narrow -- only 30 inches -- but it would support a folding cutting board or two very nicely and those are wide enough for most projects.

	Got the new cat carrier put together. The kits are too big� -- not to mention a bit too territorial -- to share a carrier and since they go to the vet tomorrow for their checkups and shots, Danger Princess needed a carrier. Warrior Princess inherited the carrier that SunLord outgrew and that she and her sister had been sharing. So tomorrow we'll be rounding up the Prince and the girlcats and trekking off to the vet's office. The Prince will be unhappy. He does NOT like riding in any motor vehicle, poor baby.

	Just found out that the primary route into Louisville, KY is going to have lane restrictions until late 2016. This could put a definite crimp in some of our vacation plans.
