	We got home about 3 hours ago but the first thing I needed to do was "get prone" and of course with the War Queen purring beside me, I promptly fell asleep! We went to Fort Harrison State Park which is on the north side of Indianapolis. It was formerly part of Fort Benjamin Harrison, an Army base that was decommissioned in the 1990's. Fortunately a good sized piece of it (including a large golf course and three nature preserves) was saved from developers and made into a state park.

	Dinner's over -- nice thing about Skywise being home! -- and I'm finishing up my root beer. No writing tonight since I've been making dinner and washing dishes. I haven't done a lot of cooking but the dirty dishes -- silverware in particular -- seem to be breeding when our backs are turned. But I'm still turning over ideas for "Cliffside Story" and I may be onto something.

	Morning. This is a "stay at home and get caught up" day today which is rare for a Saturday but since our normal "Saturday stuff" has been done over the last couple of days, there isn't any point to going to Greenwood this morning. So the girls are sleeping in and I'm enjoying some tea before I start doing laundry. Skywise is outside -- in the woods, I think -- with our herd of cats. It's quiet and peaceful, just how I like it.

	Back from lunch. The last load of laundry (HUGE bath sheets) is in the dryer and the last book I was expecting has arrived. I also found a craft pattern that I've been looking for and some adhesive that will work on PVC pipe at Walmart. Life is Good.

	We're back from the State Museum. The exhibit was very good and since parts of it were "interactive", Spirit liked it too. We had lunch on the way back and now I'm ready to crash.

	We're back. We went to the Track and then ended up on the (really) far-Eastside of Indianapolis where we had lunch and did a bit of shopping. There was a submarine model at the Hobby Town USA shop there that we saw last week that Skywise decided to get this week so we went back and got it. Skywise is a happy model builder! I will now get caught up.

	Just popping in to let y'all know I'm still kicking, but have been under the weather. Starting to feel a bit better now Just trying to get things organized around here before what's falling turns from leaves to snow!
