	Dinner is in the oven and will be done well before Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. comes on tonight. At least with the later time slot, I don't have to cook and try to keep up with the show at the same time.

	Afternoon! We made a quickish run to Bloomington for a few groceries and a little shopping. The Halloween stuff is out and I'm thinking of picking up a few odds and ends for "special effects" which could also be used to create "atmosphere" for a larp if the situation called for it. Now though, I'm going to get caught up.

	We made an unscheduled run into town tonight and since we were there, we had dinner. So now everyone is stuffed with KFC and I don't have to cook tonight. Time to dive back into the writing. When last seen, Our Heroine was rappelling down the side of a building on a "rope" made of curtains and bedsheets.... Life is good.

	Just checked the weather forecast for the rest of the week. Looks like I'd better get my three-season raincoat out of the closet and get the lining zipped in. Cold October rain is on the way..... And Our Heroine's makeshift rope just ripped.....

	I am going to have to either get out a crochet project or start working on another box for my sewing patterns. When I'm thinking about a situation while writing I need to keep my hands busy and eating Double Stuf Oreos is NOT what I need to be doing with them! Oh well, at least I'm not smoking like my mom and my aunt did when they had a sewing problem to solve...

	Morning. I've been up for over an hour and have already worked up a sweat. The cold front with the attendant thunderstorms is arriving earlier than expected and I had to hustle to get everything done outside that needed to be done before it gets here. I am now finished with those chores and intend to sit here with my tea, cool off and catch up.

	Getting the "recyclables" together for a run to the recycling bin tomorrow. We may need to do one next weekend too. The plastic bottles and aluminum cat food cans are really piling up.....

	I am so grateful that recycling for us only involves filling the blue bin in our back yard! The replacement carpet cleaner came in yesterday so, 1 room down, 2 more and the stairs to go... Also having to do some minor repairs on the heating system. The thermometer is dipping way too low here already :S It was a wee bit chilly in here last night! Gotta get back at it

	Lucky you! Of course as far as we live from the nearest town, we're lucky to have trash pickup -- which we pay for -- so we don't complain TOO much about going to Greenwood to drop the recyclables off. We had lunch and stopped at one of the home improvement places and Half Price Books where Skywise and I went a bit nuts. Oh well, vacation is almost over... It's getting chilly here too. It won't be long before we have to turn the furnace on and I'm not looking forward to it. At least we haven't used the air conditioner much this summer.

	It is now raining. Hopefully the wind won't blow the tree into the power lines. Of course, it if does, everyone will be calling the electric company's emergency number to get someone out here to take care of it. sigh I walked out to look at it with Skywise, stepped in a mole run and now my left leg is killing me. I should have told him I'd take his word for it.
