	Afternoon. Well, the last day of vacation is here and we're using it to "shift gears" back to our normal "work" routine. We're looking forward to the parade next Sunday and we have tickets to the Children's Museum Haunted House that we can use any Saturday between next Saturday and Halloween. We haven't decided if we'll be going next Saturday or not. We'll make that decision later in the week. Right now, I'm going to get more tea and finish getting caught up.

	I've been filling in gaps in Cliffside Story and another one is about filled in. I need to do some thinking -- including coming up with a name for a soon to be dead sea raider -- but I need to rest my eyes so I'm going to get prone with the Queen while I do that. She's already asleep so hopefully she won't "purr me to sleep" while my eyes are closed!

	We're back from our "end of vacation" dinner so even though there are still a few hours to go, our vacation is basically over. sigh On the plus side, we're already making plans for our two 2015 vacations -- the short one in May and the long one in September -- and the girls and Skywise are full of ideas! LOL Tomorrow starts our family "New Year" and I'm looking forward to the next twelve months. Much has happened this year with a lot of "energetic sludge" being shoveled out -- especially during the last two-three months. (Thank you, Mercury Retrograde!) Skywise's health has stabilized and there haven't been any more nasty surprises in that area so despite having to shell out for a new engine for the van, criminally high propane bills and a new lawnmower, it's been a good year. You can always get more money as long as you're healthy. I feel like the "decks" have been cleared for what comes next and whatever it is, I'm looking forward to it. Post # 33,939

	I did get a bit more added and the gap I'm working on is somewhat smaller -- gotta come up with a good fight scene though. Anyway, I'm sneezing and my eyes are still tired so I'm heading out. Vacation is over and it's back to "normal" until May. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Morning. Skywise called the REMC first thing this morning and they're going to send someone out to check out the tree. Skywise says it looks "ominous" so I'm hoping that the REMC agrees. Skywise has the early shift all this week so we'll ease back into the normal routine. And to get me back into "normal".... tea and a bite to eat while I get caught up.

	Afternoon! Banking and shopping are done and I iz a happy camper. Last Christmas, Skywise gave me a 31 inch Darth Vader figure. I immediately determined that he needed some "classic" Stormtroopers as an honor guard but none were to be found. Until today in Walmart! I am now the pleased owner of a 31 inch classic Stormtrooper figure and I've reminded my nearest and dearest that my birthday is next month.....

	It looks like the rain has finally stopped. The REMC called this morning [at 7:43 in the stupid AM!] to tell us that they'd be out to work on the tree some time this week. Someone was out while we were gone probably to see what sort of equipment they were going to need to do the job. Given how the tree is leaning -- a lot.

	Morning. The crew from the REMC showed up a couple of hours ago and the trees (there were two of them grown together) have been removed. They even cleaned up after themselves. They couldn't get the cherry picker in -- the ground is too wet and riddled with mole runs (we have a bumper crop of grubs which means the moles are feasting) -- but they had an alternate method that worked just fine. So we no longer have to wonder when those trees will come down and take out the lights and phone line. I will now have tea and get caught up before I get busy.

	Skywise is home. There was a bit of excitement at the Post Office tonight and he got to watch a Postal Inspector use all his high tech gear. Fortunately, what the Postal Inspector was "inspecting" was non-lethal. Anyway, I've made out the deposit slip for his check and I'm gonna head out. Tomorrow -- and the whole weekend of which he has ALL THREE DAYS off -- will be busy. Everyone sleep well and be safe.
