	Skywise is on his way to work and I'm wondering how long I can avoid tackling the kitchen. The girls want hot dogs and fries for dinner so it's "easy meal" night but I still need to put away the stuff we bought today. At some point. Yeah, I'd like the "break" to last a little longer.

	Afternoon. We're back from Greenwood. It has been raining like heck since last night. The temps are in the high 40's which is good 'cause if this was an ice storm, it would be a disaster and if it was snow, we'd be looking at between 10 and 12 inches of the white stuff. As it is, we're gonna get rained on for the rest of the day. Accumulating snow is predicted for Tuesday, followed by "arctic blast" with windchill numbers around 20 below. Oh happy day! Break out the wool blankets and hot chocolate....

	The rain stopped for a while but it's started again. I hope that it HAS stopped by the time the temperature starts to drop tomorrow. I've been studying today and having my beliefs about the importance of things like world building and backstory confirmed by the author. I've got a lot to do before I dig into Book 4 but I now have a way to go about it. Be that as it may, it's late, I'm tired and I'm heading out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. We're back from our grocery run. We lucked out as far as snow is concerned. We got enough to cover the ground and "most" of the leaves but not enough to require shoveling. Tomorrow and Thursday are supposed to be really cold -- as in single digit cold -- and we didn't want to be out then so we picked up a few things at the store today. Ah... the tea is brewed....

	I had to stop lurking on Amazon. WAY too much temptation in the form of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stuff! Moonie and I were particularly taken with the official SHIELD ID holders. The badge holder with the lanyard -- which you have to be a fan of the show to realize the significance of the lanyard -- was almost too much temptation too. sigh So much cool geeky stuff, so little $$$$$.

	The Queen is of the opinion that the best and warmest place to sleep today is in my lap which is fine unless I've got something I have to do, like start dinner, or need to type. At the moment, she's next to me. How much you wanna bet that she'll be in my lap just before I need to get up to make pizza dough?
