	Morning. It's clear and cold today, the last such day for a while. We're expecting rain tomorrow and accumulating snow on Sunday. Good thing that tomorrow and Friday are "stock up days!"

	Afternoon. [rant]I was right. Skywise wasn't happy about the hospital situation either. We both realize that his doctor may decide to close his practice or reduce his office hours if the only hospitals that he can send his patients to is 45 minutes to more than an hour away. Once this news spreads, there are going to be a LOT of mighty unhappy people in this area and I hope they take huge bites out of the backsides of the people responsible for getting us into this situation. [/rant] First phase of the payday shopping is done. We'll finish up tomorrow. Now to get caught up and make some tea, not necessarily in that order.

	Afternoon. Skywise is on his way to work -- yes, he's working. Some "female" decided at the last minute that she HAD to have today off and their boss decided that Skywise should cover for her. <--- Me last night when he told me. So now I get to sit here tonight and worry until he gets home. The storm system is to the west of us at the moment and is expected to arrive around 7 pm. They're predicting 4 inches for this area but that's subject to change. sigh I'll be pacing the floor tonight.

	I took a nap. In the first place, it saves megabytes since I won't be checking the radar every five minutes and in the second place, if I'm asleep, I'm not pacing the floor or eating everything in sight. So now I have only 6 to 8 hours to get through before Skywise gets home...... Post # 34,678

	I am in a bad mood. The radar I use to keep track of things refuses to load. The only consolation I have is that I'm not tracking a supercell with multiple tornadoes. My eyes make me wish I could pull them out, they hurt so bad from trying to read Scrivener's PDF user's manual. I decided to print out the Scrivener user manual -- or the part I need anyway -- so I can ACTUALLY READ THE DAMNED THING and start using the software but the DAMNED SOFTWARE WON'T LET ME put it on a stick so I can use the computer with the printer!! And the snow has started, Skywise is at work and probably won't get off until midnight or later.....

	So far, the snow is tracking north and they're saying this area will get less than an inch of snow. There's a big blob of "weather" out to the west so I'm not gonna bet the mortgage money on that part of the forecast until it's moved into Ohio. All I want now is for Skywise to get home safely and it looks like he'll be able to do that.

	We have determined that one of the cats has reprogrammed the television to receive the Spanish audio for the local NBC station. Since the television is currently refusing to listen to the remote, we're at a bit of a loss as to how they did.
