	This is my 35,000th post. Who would have thought that Sanctuary would still be going this long? Well, I did but I'm probably the only one. People have come and gone (mostly gone) and there have been years where I basically talked to myself here. And that's okay. I don't know what the next 35,000 posts will be about -- probably whatever interests me at any given time 'cause I'm NOT a "one trick pony" and lots of things interest me -- but as long as I'm alive and can use a computer, I'll be here, talking about everything and "nothing" 'cause more than anyplace else in the cyberverse, this is where I'm most comfortable, where I can and will talk about whatever I please and where the discerning can find the "real me" faults (yes, I do have a few) and all. NOW, I'm gonna go make sure everything is ready to make dinner after Agents of SHIELD is over. I'll be back when AoS is over and dinner is started. Later.

	Good afternoon! We've been to the electric company, the bank, then Bloomington for groceries and lunch. Now we're home. I have iced tea and the Queen in my lap. Plus two fun sized Hershey bars waiting to be eaten. The chocolate, NOT the Queen! And I NEED TOPO MAPS!! That is all.....

	sigh Time to rest the eyes again. I've been getting caught up and I'm paying for it. Current plans now are for me to get my eye exam this coming Monday -- the whole nine yards including having my pupils dilated -- and then head off to EyeGlass World in Greenwood with my eye glass prescription on Tuesday to get the process started. They made my last pair of glasses when Walmart's lab couldn't handle the prescription so we're reasonably sure they will be able to do the new ones without too much delay. Anyway, time to go close my eyes for a while.

	I've been back for a while, just haven't posted. We have more rain coming in tonight and I'm watching that and doing my nails while I prowl the web. I thought that our previous Republican gov (Mitch Daniels) was bad but the current numbskull (Mike Pence) is setting a new standard for "special interest stupid." Tomorrow he will sign a bill making it legal for the "service sector" to deny service to any variety of "gay" persons. The city of Indianapolis does a HUGE convention business and convention organizers are threatening to pull their events if the bill is signed. GENCon was first in line. Theirs is a national convention that brings in the neighborhood of $50 million each year. They are contracted through 2020 but after that, who knows? Other conventions are making their dismay known as is "Visit Indy" who works to promote Indiana as a destination and the Mayor of Indianapolis has stated his opposition to the bill as well. But the forces of homophobia apparently have the state legislature and the governor by the so the bill will become law. I predict that a lawsuit challenging the law's constitutionality will be filed by the middle of next week if not sooner.� It will be struck down -- as it should be -- but the "black eye" on the state's reputation will remain.....

	I've been working on the larp rules in anticipation of being able to put them into Scrivener once I can see. I've also been playing around with my "dream larp camp" plan but Skywise is home, it is thundering and according to the radar it's gonna rain like heck the rest of the night. OH! And Skywise will have the weekend off. This is a GOOD thing! The thunder is getting closer, louder and more frequent. Gonna head out while I can. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. Skywise has the weekend off. We were awakened this morning by a call for him from Capital One wanting to know if he'd made an online purchase yesterday for $440. He hadn't. sigh New credit card is on the way. Then... we get home and the first thing I find out is that one of the cats hacked up a hairball on our bedspread. The washer is running. The bedspread is Queen-sized and heavy. I anticipate running it through two cycles to get it clean. It will take most of the day to dry. sigh And the day was going so well there for a while.....

	Greetings! We took off fast this morning 'cause we wanted to get our in town stuff done before the churches let out. It being Palm Sunday and all, all the churches were packed if one were to judge by the number of cars in the parking lots. (We drive past two churches on the way into town.) And we were right, by the time we made our last stop, everyplace was filling up. We got the heck out of Dodge and we're "in" until tomorrow morning when we'll head for Bloomington for my eye appointment. Now I'm gonna get caught up and get my "new patient" paperwork for the appointment filled out.

	I may have to avoid my fb newsfeed for a while. Some of my friends' friends are taking the "Hate Indiana" thing a bit too far and since I really don't want to run up my blood pressure, spoil my sweet disposition or lose my temper, making myself scarce is probably a good thing. Of course, if it goes on too long or starts invading my personal page, there WILL be blocking, ruthlessly applied.
