	FINALLY have my journal caught up! I'm really going to have to be better about keeping it up. It takes too long to look things up here and on facebook. There have apparently been some interesting developments in the last 24 to 36 hours. Not sure exactly WHAT KIND of developments but something seems to have happened. I guess I'll just have to wait for UNI to drop the info in my lap.

	Greetings! I had no sooner gotten off last night that a line of storms moved in from the north -- they were about 12 hours early! -- and things didn't settle down until 3 a.m. which is why I'm late getting on this morning. But I'm awake, I've had a bite to eat and I have tea. Now to finish getting caught up.

	We have incoming "weather" -- just in time for me to start dinner! I may wait on that a bit. It's damned inconvenient to be cooking and have the lights go out! Skywise surprised everyone by taking us to Gatti's for lunch so we're all well fed so waiting on dinner shouldn't be a problem.

	The weather has FINALLY gone past us without spawning any tornado warnings for this county although the county immediately south and west of us was gifted with one. Dinner prep is now underway and shouldn't be too awfully late. Fortunately Skywise is in full agreement with my inclination NOT to start cooking when it might be interrupted by a power outage or the need to take cover in the basement.....

	Skywise has left for work and I finally have a chance to sit down. The dentist wants him to see a specialist who has offices on the far northside of Indianapolis so he's going to take that day off when he makes the appointment and we'll just make a day of it. We've been thinking/planning about carports and getting the van painted and I'm REALLY going to have to make an "Action List" -- which is way more imperative than a "To Do" list -- so we remember everything and get it done. Since I can now see as well as can be expected I'll be starting the bookcases this week -- I put that project off until I had my glasses, hoping for better vision -- and after that, I'll get to work on the kitchen box. I feel the need to be creative with wood. Not to mention the fact that I have a lot of books that need to be shelved and "kitchen/camping" stuff that needs to be organized in the "Mobile Kitchen Unit"!

	The weather is getting wild in the northern part of the state -- Tornado Watch until 3 a.m.. Hopefully it will settle down before it gets this far.

	Greetings! It's cloudy and humid this morning but not terribly hot. The effect is "clammy". sigh Oh well, it's better than three years ago when it was HOT, dry and "drought"! I already have tea and have eaten so now I'm getting caught up. The McDonald's in town was robbed just after midnight last night and I suspect that everyone is on edge. It's right off the highway (SR 37) so it is really easy to get to and away from. The guy was black and the police think that he may be responsible for robberies in Bloomington and Ellettsville.

	Well THAT was unexpected! The power was out from 12:42 to 2:47 this afternoon which kinda fouled up the whole "Skywise getting ready for work" thing but we managed. I'm now doing the laundry I was going to start two hours ago.....

	Greetings. We're back from our grocery run. We'll be making a slight change starting next week. The grocery we've been going to since the one in town closed has, for the second time in as many weeks, failed to have one of my kitchen staples -- 73/27 ground beef. Last week, they ground my order while I waited. This week, they couldn't even do that. We tried another store in the same chain and they had what I wanted, prepackaged no less. So that store, which is right next to the other places we shop (Staples, B & N, Target, K-Mart) as well as the restaurants we patronize, will be seeing a slight uptick in business. Now to drink tea and get up to date on the weather.....

	Greetings! Things are quiet now but I expect them to get lively later. At least that is what the weatherpersons are telling us. Skywise wanted to get the grass cut this week but that was a washout -- literally. So he was back out in the van this morning poking around trying to figure out how whatever was on the dashboard was wired up. No luck on that yet. I'm thinking about customizing sunscreens and making screens for the side windows.
