	We FINALLY got the van back at nearly 6 this evening. They kept the place open until we got there. The brakes now work very well and we're HOPING that we don't have to have any more work done for at least a year or more. We've dropped nearly $1,900 in the last few days on it and that is more than enough!

	It's raining again and we're under a Flood Watch. We could get as much as another 4 inches by Saturday morning and the ground is saturated. sigh I hoping that we'll be able to get out of here for a few hours tomorrow. 	We're back. Creeks are high and there is a lot of flooded fields but no roads closed yet. I had some success with my shopping -- picked up some pieces for the proton packs and wire for the connection between the packs and the proton guns. Now I'm going to unwind and catch up.

	And still it rains. Skywise will have to go into the city to pick up his check but it doesn't look like he'll have much trouble. The rain's coming down at a pretty good clip but not like it was in '08 although I suspect that the city fathers in Martinsville and the other towns that got flooded back then are watching the water levels closely.

	RB is improving, slowly. We've managed to avoid buying a pump, so far. The rain is slowing down and is predicted to stop soon. Thank the Gods!!

	The rain stopped a couple of hours ago and the sun has been "in and out". Skywise has found a couple of places where water has been seeping into the basement aside from the floor drain. Now that the rain has stopped and the water is draining away -- the yard is already clear of standing water -- it "should" be safe to leave for a few hours to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 on Sunday. It better be, I've already bought the tickets!

	No rain for six or seven hours. Hopefully that will be it for a while. May is normally a very busy month in Indiana and getting rained on puts a serious crimp in things. Skywise is currently downstairs with RB, reportedly, they're both asleep. Moonie says her dad is snoring. RB is just being adorable. Anyway since I'm tired too, I'm going to head out. 	Afternoon. Skywise came to bed and left while I was sleeping. He played "Momma Cat" to RB for most of the night. Moonie is downstairs and she's managing to get a little solid food into RB. Skywise discovered this morning that the Queen really likes the kitten milk. Since it's also good for convalescent cats, senior cats and any cat that needs a nutritional boost she'll be getting some every day too. In other news, no rain. The sun is out, the sky is clear and there's a brisk breeze which should help dry things out.

	We're back from dinner and in for the night. We'll be seeing Guardians of the Galaxy 2 tomorrow at a theater we've never been to but I'm pretty sure I know where it is. I'll be in the doghouse if I don't.

	Morning. Skywise and Moonie got more food into RB. He's still not real keen on solid food but Moonie got a little into him. He's currently laying on the floor near me which he hasn't done in more than a week. We're getting ready to go to a movie. RB is better and water has stopped coming into the basement so we can leave for a few hours. Later.

	We're back. The movie -- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 -- was pretty good. We had lunch in Bloomington. RB is a bit more lively today but NOT back to his old self. He sees the vet tomorrow for a checkup. We're taking SunLord along to get his teeth and gums checked. He has some black spots on his gums and we aren't taking any chances with him.

	Morning. RB has decided that the area under the computer table where I put my feet is "his" spot -- at least for the time being. It does make it convenient for me to scratch his ears. We're taking him in for a checkup with morning. He's still not eating but we're getting nourishment into him and he's getting a little stronger. Skywise goes back to work today. I can do without "vacations" like the last two weeks. Post # 38,250

	We're back. SunLord is up to 18 pounds -- none of which is fat -- and has a gum infection. He got a shot of long acting antibiotic and an appointment to have his teeth cleaned. RB's lungs are clear and he's been more active and vocal but he still has a fever and was dehydrated. He got some intravenous fluid and a different and stronger antibiotic to take. He has another appointment for next week. Skywise goes back to work today and he and Moonie will dose RB before he leaves since getting down on the floor or the stairs isn't something I can do.

	We're monitoring RB temperature and, naturally, since it's night, it went up then dropped back down.

	His temperature is bouncing up and down. We'll see how he does with this new antibiotic. I'm still encouraged that his lungs are clear.
