	Morning. The Queen let me up finally last night. I've been sitting around in my night clothes 'cause I'm warm and comfortable in them and getting caught up. Why couldn't have it been this cool on Monday when we were in the van for 13 hours total?

	We went to the city park today, haven't been in years except for the 4th of July fireworks. I also got paint for the prop phone. Since I can get a new handset in the right color (red) it is worth the time, trouble and expense to paint it.

	Evening. It's been a busy day and this is my first chance to get on here. Tomorrow WILL be better, I promise. We went to Bloomington and I was pretty wiped out when we got back -- not quite recovered from that marathon Eclipse Road Trip -- and I crashed pretty hard when we got home. When I got up I had "stuff" to do which I have been doing. I'm now waiting for the yeast to proof so I can make pizzas. I need to make a few more entries but I'll work them inbetween pizza making stages.

	Another "catch up" post. On Wednesday, we found a place to get Faygo Redpop which Skywise and the girls love. A little neighborhood store near where we drop off our recyclables carries not only Redpop but every flavor that Faygo makes. Skywise was thrilled to find Rock & Rye which he hasn't had in decades. We stocked up on 2 liter bottles so we're set for soft drinks for a while!

	We're back from dinner. KFC tonight which made Spirit very happy. She loves KFC, especially unlimited trips to the buffet -- all the chicken she can eat! On the way in I saw a vehicle which I assume was local with a no ghost sticker on the rear window. Guess we aren't the only Ghostheads in the area....

	People seem to be blaming President Trump for Hurricane Harvey or for people failing/refusing to evacuate or for not signing a disaster declaration days ago. I'm not sure which. People are insane. I know "haters gonna hate" but this is ridiculous! Anyway, on that note, I'm heading out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. Harvey is over land. Hopefully, all the Ghostbusters stationed in East Texas are safe. We're back from Greenwood. I picked up a copy of the first TMNT/GB crossover. Since the second one is due to start in November, I wanted to get caught up. It's cool today and since I didn't sleep well, I'm going to crash while I have the chance. Later.

	I crashed, napped and while I don't feel a whole lot better at least I'm not sleepy. I've been doing the piled up dishes since I got up, checked on my fb groups and hunted for instructions on how to build a 1984 movie version PKE meter. Since those were made using a shoe polisher that is no longer made, the only instructions I can find use 3-D printing... I do NOT have over $600 (minimum) to spend on a 3-D printer! I'm probably going to go back to a RGB based original design at this point....

	Skywise is on his way to work and I'm working on my new purse. I'm using a too small backup right now 'cause SunLord threw up on the one I was using. It has a broken zipper and isn't worth the effort to wash so..... working on a new state of the art, custom designed for my needs, super-geek purse! Which is about the size of a messenger bag 'cause of all the stuff I have to carry!

	We have incoming weather but it's a thin line not related to Harvey. No one can predict if or when any Harvey "leftovers" will get here. We'll have to wait and see.

	Afternoon. We've been lazy this morning -- something we need since we're both very tired mentally. It's cloudy and humid which doesn't help. Skywise and I have been talking about "stuff" and trying to figure out how to get from where we are to where we want to be. Yeah, I know. Exceptionally vague but that's where we are right now. Huge changes that were below the horizon are now poking their heads up -- specifically "retirement" in five years, probably less, and while the "financial" aspect is in good shape, other "stuff" needs to be addressed.

	Afternoon. Today. When we HAD to get out of here to take the Queen and SunLord in for their shots, the county decided -- WITHOUT WARNING -- TO PAVE THE ROAD IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE!! We took Conservation to the highway and then to town. Coming back, we went into Morgantown, and took the road out of town to get here. The van is parked across the road at the neighbor's and we walked across with the cats. When let out of his carrier, SunLord set a cat "land speed record" getting away from the road. Don't know if there will be mail delivery today or not.....
