	Afternoon. We got the blocks we needed immediately this morning -- we'll probably get more later. Skywise has left for work, the girls are settled and I'm going to get prone for a while. My left leg is still making walking difficult and taking my weight off of it seems to be the only thing that helps. Painkillers sure don't.

	Afternoon. It's STILL hot and we'll be turning the a/c on later once the sun is no longer beating down on the house so much. We're getting adjusted to the "new normal" -- life without Mikey. I didn't usually see him much during the day, it's only at night when we start getting them in for the night that I have to stop myself from calling him. I know he's in good paws but still....

	Afternoon. It's decidedly chilly today so the a/c is off and the windows are open. I'm sitting here in a sweatshirt which I'll probably change out of before the day's over. "Spring" is like that in Indiana. I've been doing some "paranormal/energy work" research with an eye to incorporating it into my "tool box". The world is getting crazy -- or maybe crazier -- and I like to be prepared.

	Earlier this evening, Romeo came inside and as soon as he knew that the coast was clear, he went straight to Moonie's room to say "hello" and get a snack from the self-feeder she keeps there. Just like Mikey did every time he came in from the outdoors or up from the basement. He always went looking for her. His brother may be taking over that duty. I hope so.... Skywise is on his way home, he should be here in half an hour or so so I'm heading out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. It was downright chilly this morning. I burrowed under the covers and did NOT want to come out. But... we needed to go on a catfood run so I hauled myself out of bed, dressed and off we went. Feline food was obtained as was breakfast that was actually lunch since it was nearly 11 by that time. Now we're home and, after paying a stack of bills -- -- I have tea and am getting caught up.

	Since we developed a severe megabyte shortage this afternoon, I've spent the late afternoon/evening reading. I'm at the halfway point in the first book I'm reading for "research". Thankfully, I'm through the "case studies" part -- which makes one's hair stand on end in spots -- and I'm finally getting into the "what to do" parts. I have two books to read after this one but they are thankfully considerably shorter than the one I'm reading. I don't know if the third book -- which hasn't arrived yet -- will be read immediately or not. I'll have to see it first.

	Afternoon. Back from grocery shopping and lunch. Had to pick up the car since what was going to be "just" an oil change and tire rotation turned into that and needing a new tire after Skywise ran over some sort of drill bit that was a ¼in. in diameter if it was an inch. And he leaves for work in less than an hour.....
