	Trash is being taken out although it probably won't be picked up tomorrow but we could be surprised. Earlier this year I brought an inexpensive headlamp for myself. Skywise and Moonie liked it so well that I got lamps for them and Spirit for Christmas. They are wearing them while taking the trash out. Since I "hit my fatigue wall" about an hour ago, I'm heading out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Greetings, we're back from town. Skywise had a prescription that needed refilling so we did that, picked up a few things and had lunch. I've been getting caught up and will probably have a nap soon. Skywise is working the super-late shift for the next couple of weeks and my sleep cycle needs adjusting...

	It's cold. 11 degrees and dropping. And snowing. Of course it is the bottom of the year -- last week of December. I'm finding "climate change" in the direction of a mini-ice age more convincing that "global warming". More hard, "untampered with" evidence to support the theory. May have to build greenhouses in a few years.

	Greetings! Finally! We went into town to pay the mortgage and electric bills. When we got home I poked around the internet until it was time to start wrestling with Amazon. Last night, late, I got an email telling me that "my review" had gone live. Thing was I didn't write the review. Someone else was using my account. After some delay -- I was in the midst of simmering the leftover roast in BBQ sauce and making dinner -- I managed to find where on Amazon I could send an email to a for real, live person which I did. I explained my problem as fully as I could, including the person posting under my name. That seemed to kick things into turbo. I got an email this morning from them that told me what they'd done and what I should do around noon local time. I followed the instructions and I was able to get into my account. I entered a new password and I'll probably change it again tomorrow to be safe. STILL don't know how this mess started in the first place...

	I've just ordered two books through Amazon and so far, no problems. Both books are about "climate change" in the "seems more likely by the day" mini-ice age direction. This subject seems to be gaining traction since there is a nice selection on what to expect and how to survive available now whereas a few years ago there was virtually nothing....

	Afternoon. We're back from Greenwood with kitty litter. The local Walmart hasn't restocked what the cats use and we're reluctant to use something different lest the furry ones express their displeasure by doing their business somewhere other than the litter boxes. Which would be fine if they could go outside but in this weather, they have no desire to go outside so.... as soon as Walmart restocks, we're gonna clean them out! Now to get caught up.

	Afternoon. We're back from Greenwood and mostly thawed out. I bought a "trapper's hat" -- fur trimmed -- yesterday so my ears and face didn't get nearly as cold and the "friction" between the hat and the hood on my coat helps keep the hood up. STILL gonna need to make a small scarf to wear around my neck under my coat! It was 18 this morning when we started out. Now it's 13. I have some things I have to take up to the Guest House but I think I'll wait a little while longer..... Post # 39,500

	Dinner's over. It was a little later than I'd planned but I got it done before midnight so it's "reasonably" good rather than "all". The food was delicious even if the timing wasn't. Skywise just put a 12 can pack of Decaf Coke on the back step to chill. It's currently 4 degrees so an hour should be long enough...

	Just ordered some storage units that "should" neaten up the pantry and make rotation easier. I saw a really big freestanding unit that would have to go in the basement but first things first, get the kitchen pantry organized!

	You know it's cold when the internet freezes. That's apparently what happened yesterday. Both HughesNet and Earthlink. went down and didn't come back until sometime very early this morning. It's currently -11. I'm hoping everything stays up....
