	I'm making headway with the chores. Flash is a repeat tonight and one I don't particularly want to see so I have an extra hour to work. I'll take a break and watch *Black Lightning*. I'm of two minds about that show -- it is more gruesomely violent than I'm really comfortable with -- so I'm going to give it to the end of this season -- which I believe is 13 episodes or so -- before I decide.

	We have no hot water. Skywise will have to check it when he gets home. I could probably get down the stairs but I wouldn't be able to get back on my feet if I got down to check the pilot light and the burners. I know this from experience and crawling on my hands and knees the length of the basement to get to the stairs does not appeal.....

	Skywise called about half an hour ago. He's on the way. I'm hoping he can get the water heater working. I'm heading out now. My legs are killing me and everything has me near tears. I am SO damned tired.... Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Morning. Skywise got the water heater started last night and we have, so far, hot water. NO idea why the blasted thing quit last night. I'm going to get some tea and something to eat and then get started on the dishes. We don't have a single clean plate in the house. Yeah, last night was "do the dishes" night.

	Spirit wanted to eat out for lunch so we took off not long after I posted. We got back at 1ish and Skywise had to get ready for work so I'm just now starting on cleaning up the kitchen. Or will be as soon as I stop typing....

	Been getting stuff done. I turned the kitchen over to Moonie so she could frost and decorate the Valentine's Day cake. It's a bit late but we'll cut it when Skywise gets home.

	Afternoon. We hit the ground running this morning since Skywise had to leave early for a meeting he is required to attend. We worked fast but we got everything done we had to do and got home with some time to spare. I've been getting caught up before I start my chores. It is currently 65 degrees with light rain. I believe that there is snow in the weekend forecast.....

	I am... miffed/disgusted. I just found cat poop in my house slipper. Someone left the litter box before she was finished. I need to stop leaving my footwear next to the bed. Fortunately I should be able to salvage the slipper once the OUT! dries....

	Afternoon. Things are back to approaching "normal" today. The temperature has dropped nearly 30 degrees since yesterday and the rain has stopped. We went into town to pick up a few things and had lunch. Skywise will be leaving soon and it will be time for me to be useful...

	Since I was in agony -- knees which do NOT like this weather! -- as soon as I made my last post, I took some painkiller and got prone. This resulted in a nap and when I got up about an hour ago, the pain was diminished enough so I could walk. We'd picked up some ink cartridges for the printer and I finished to print job I was doing yesterday before the ink ran out. Dinner is still cooking in the crockpot and nowhere near done so I think a sandwich is in order......

	Evening. We saw *Black Panther* this afternoon and it was 3 pm before we got out. Then we had a late lunch, shopped for dinner and got home at 5. I did what was absolutely necessary and crashed. I just got up. I will now get caught up.

	Dinner was various offerings by Stouffer's. Everyone is now fed and the damage to the kitchen is minimal. I'll be cleaning it up tomorrow since it's late and I'm tired!
