	I crashed until after 7, slept most of the time and I feel less achy. My knees still hurt but the headache and body aches are gone. The rain has stopped for the moment -- hopefully for a LONG moment -- and I'm getting my journal caught up and there's a crochet project next to me in the Queen's Chair that I'll be working on later. With the flooding up north, there's no telling when Skywise will get home. Hopefully a lot earlier than he did last night!

	Oh happy day! We have a Flood Watch in effect until Sunday. They're predicting 2 to 3 inches of rain, the ground is already saturated and the creeks are running high. I hope this isn't a repeat of '08......

	The front edge of the big blob of rain is just south and west of here, around Bloomington. I was hoping Skywise would be home before it got here but no such luck. Even if he called right this minute, the rain would be here before he got home.

	I've been cleaning and making an enormous mess -- NOT a contradiction in terms! Found a book that Skywise had been looking for months, so long that he ordered a new copy. Now he has two. Also found a missing piece of a project I'd been working on but NOT what I was hoping to find. Oh well tomorrow is another day.....

	Afternoon. We're currently having a break in the rain. It should last a few more hours before it gets "interesting" later tonight. The creeks are high but hopefully this break will give them a chance to come down a bit before the next round starts.

	I just noticed that the iris in the backyard, next to the house, are about 4 to 6 inches high, no doubt due to the unseasonably warm weather. If it turns cold again, they'll have to start over. IF they survive.

	Skywise is home. He did not have to make any detours. It's still raining a little but we didn't have any"fire hose" downpours or thunderstorms. Since he's home I'm going to head out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.
