	Afternoon. And the next day, it froze. It's currently 18 degrees with a wind chill of 3 degrees. Some areas are still flooded but the water's gone down in most places. Now, I'll get caught up and see how things are in the rest of this waterlogged state.

	Evening. I've been asleep most of the day. I didn't feel well when I got up and decided -- once we got home -- that crashing was a good idea in case I was trying to come down with something. I feel better now so I'm hoping that worked. Maybe I was just exhausted.

	Feeling better or at least, my innards have settled down. Skywise expects to be home around 3 to 4 am. Just a couple of hours left to go. And yes, he works tomorrow too and the overtime rate is heart stopping but if the USPS wants to pay it, we'll take it.

	Afternoon. And the next day.... it snowed. Also sleet but we were asleep when that was going on. We went into town for lunch and to see how the roads are. Short answer: messy and getting worse since we got home. Skywise has left for work and promised to be careful, going and coming home. I will attempt to keep my anxiety under control.....

	It's been raining since Skywise left. Moonie informs me that the basement drain still has water in it but it isn't rising -- yet. We'll have to keep an eye on it. Post #41,010

	Afternoon. He got home at 4 am. I woke up early and couldn't go back to sleep because we were expecting a delivery that had to be signed for and we didn't know when the driver would get here. We managed to get some sleep but not enough. The package arrived and now I'm watching it snow. Yesterday, it rained and all the remaining snow melted. Now it's snowing again. I suppose we'd better get used to it....

	Damn, I'm tired. I tried to get a nap in but the damned phone wouldn't stop ringing. Skywise hasn't called yet but since the weather was decent today, I'm hoping that there isn't too much of a backlog of mail to process. I'm also hoping that he gets the whole three day weekend off. 	Afternoon. Skywise called about 5 minutes after I posted last night. It's been a busy morning and I'm about to get prone. The bottom has fallen out of one of my kitchen drawers.
