	Afternoon. Yesterday was beautiful. Today is a gloomy mess. We've had fog, a little sleet and who knows what else when I wasn't looking. Sunday plans are on hold until things improve a little.

	Evening. HughesNet has screwed up my megabyte tracking system so I no longer know exactly how many megabytes I've used and how many are left. So I'm going to have to guess and I DON'T LIKE GUESSING! Especially about things like this! I've been researching how to pressure can hamburger patties. One of Spirit's favorite meals is hamburger patties baked in mushroom soup. It looks "doable" or a least a lot of home canners are doing it so once I have all my ducks in a row, I'll probably give it a try. It would be one worry off my mind if my hamburger patty supply was safely put up in glass jars instead of the freezer if the power goes out for an extended period of time! I'll be canning chicken -- another staple around here -- as well and maybe boneless pork chops too... I'm gonna need a lot of jars and a LOT of storage space.

	Morning. There is a mouse in the house but, no worries, the furpersons are on the job. It's another gloomy day but at least it isn't raining and/or threatening to blow the house into the next county. We've had a little snow, just enough to know that it's there but we can handle that.

	The internet is boring tonight. The weather later in the week promises to be anything but "boring" but it's February in Indiana so what are ya gonna do? Three books arrived today plus I'm still reading a book on aquaponics so I have no shortage of reading material. So much to read, so little time.

	Looking at vintage Pyrex casseroles. Apparently the current ones have a breakage problem and a dish I find myself making often needs a bigger casserole dish than I have. I'll have to sleep on it since it is a bit expensive given that it's "vintage" -- meaning it is about the same age as things I bought when we were setting up housekeeping......

	Spirit finally stopped hurling and is asleep right now. She told me she wants her dinner so I'm making it. She can eat what she wants of it and I'll hope it stays down. 	The rain is FINALLY starting to clear out, thank goodness! It's currently in the low 40s so the snow we got last night is gone. I'm reducing the mountain range of laundry we have. I'll probably get three or four loads done today depending on how long it takes to get things dry. The first load is going into the dryer, second load into the washer and "me" to get prone. I need to think and staring at a "blank page" on the computer doesn't help with that. Plus, I've taken some painkiller and it needs time to work. So I'm off to deal with laundry and then get prone.

	The last of four loads of laundry is done. There's still some that needs to be put away but as far as hauling armloads of dirty clothes to the washer and clean clothes to the bedroom, I'm done. And not a moment too soon!

	All the laundry is put away. I'm off facebook for the night since a conversation is starting and I'm bowing out before it goes on the rest of the night. This girl needs her sleep, especially since Skywise didn't get in until 4 am last night! So, I'm going to call it a night and spend the time until he gets home thinking about the changes I'm making to Book 4 and how much of what I've already written I can manage to keep. 	Moonie likes yogurt. I do not. But.... I've just bought a book about how to make it -- along with other dairy products -- so maybe I can make something eatable. For me at any rate. It also as instructions for making frozen yogurt. I really liked TCBY. Unfortunately, if there are any stores left in Indiana, I don't know where they are.

I'm sorry that rudely cut into your reminiscence of Sassy, but every time I hear it, I'm reminded of the that Sassy was supposed to be with us and that her killer was still living a life it didn't deserve. I didn't want to listen to the happy memories because I knew how it all ended. Even after all those years, these wounds have not healed and are festering. I feel like the only way I can truly heal was to beat up Sassy's killer until it tells me why it did it. I want it to feel the pain I'm feeling. Yes, I'm calling the "person" who killed Sassy an it as it had lost the right to be called a human being in my eyes.
