	We're back from Skywise's appointment and he's sleeping it off. We may be crazy. I -- with Skywise signing off on it -- just bought a rare and not cheap new/nearly new copy of West End Games Ghostbusters International. It's being sent Priority Mail so we should be getting it soon....

	Afternoon. We're back from the weekly produce run. I received three books on aquaponics today which fills out my Aquaponics reference library unless there is some major breakthrough in the technology which I don't see happening. I slept last night but I don't feel very rested. A nap is in my future.... Post # 41,200

	I got done in the basement what I wanted to get done -- getting incredibly filthy in the process -- so now I'm going to clean up, get prone before everything starts to hurt and then tackle the dishes. Yesterday was so "unsettled" that I didn't get to them so now they must be done today.

	Afternoon. Skywise made it home before the rain got here. We had .30 inches in the rain gauge this morning. After yesterday's high of 80 we're back down to something more seasonable -- 54 degrees.

	Afternoon. Iz really, REALLY happy! The proton pack parts from England arrived this morning -- early. As in before Skywise had his pants on and before I was out of bed! Fortunately, no one's modesty was compromised and the overseas shipment was signed for. Then the letter carrier delivered a book I ordered and the Ghostbusters International RPG for which I paid an obscene price for a Mint In Box/Unopened copy. So yeah, it is a good day!

	Afternoon. Busy day so far. The rain finally got here last night and we got 1.05 inches on top of the .30 inches that was already in the rain gauge. We emptied it and so it's ready for the next round of rain. I just put dinner in the crockpot so after I get caught up... dishes.

	With the girls helping, we managed to get some things done today. The property tax bills for the Old House and the land around it arrived today. I'm expecting the bill for this house to arrive later in the week. So far, the financial hit isn't too bad.

	Evening. I didn't get much of anything done today but given how short of sleep I was, it wasn't surprising. I took some aspirin mid-afternoon since the painkiller I took last night quit early. Anyway, I've been able to get around fairly well this evening. I'm hoping that it will still be working in the morning. Skywise hasn't called. I'm hoping he doesn't have another 13 hour shift tonight like last night. I'm going to head out and do some reading. I have a lot of studying to do and not a lot of time to learn what I need to. 	Afternoon. After lunch in town we came home to a long skinny package on the front steps -- more material for the proton packs. I spent the time between then and now putting the reference photos I'm going to need in a word document so I can print them out and have them to study while I'm building the packs. I'll be taking my own photos of the process but for now, I need to study other people's work. In other news, the last of the property tax bills arrived today so we know how much we owe. It isn't as bad as I feared so it's all good. I will now get caught up on what's going on in the world...

	I have surrendered and taken painkiller. I'm having stray, unexpected pains from the hips down and.... I HAVE STUFF TO DO!! The fact that it's currently cold (43 degrees), windy and raining doesn't help one bit! Spring was here Wednesday! Where did it go? Never mind. I know. This is the "new normal". I'm going to wrap up what I'm doing and get prone until the aspirin kicks in. The Gods know I have enough reading to do...

	Still raining off and on. I checked the National Weather Service radar and the center of the system is too the south -- Kentucky/Tennessee -- sitting more or less in place and rotating. sigh At least it's a nice gentle rain and not a damned deluge... Post #41,222
