	I ended up with a HUGE pot of pulled beef BBQ which is currently sitting in the refrigerator. One load of laundry is on the bed and another is in the dryer. The dough for the pizzas is rising so I'll be doing that soon. Given the hour, I'm heading out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Just took painkiller. I put the three storage units we bought on Saturday together this evening -- which hurt while I was doing it -- and now I really hurt and I still haven't made dinner yet. So the painkiller is so I can do that and hopefully sleep tonight. Tomorrow, in addition to everything else, I have to bake a cake for Moonie's birthday....

	Currently poking a twatwaffle in one of the Facebook groups I'm in. He's doing the "I know something you don't know and I ain't telling!" elementary school kid thing. He claims his life would be in danger if he reveals what he knows but he keeps on saying he has knowledge that puts him in danger. It seems to me that if he DID have such knowledge, he'd lay low and keep his mouth shut. But no, he's gotta brag about it on Facebook. It's a closed group but still.... So I got fed up with him and called him on it -- logically, of course -- and I may have gotten his goat. He's replied but I haven't looked at it yet. Researching how to home can hamburger is a more important use of my time as far as I'm concerned.

	Today (the 25th) is Moonie's birthday. She's spent part of the afternoon and all of this evening keeping the basement from flooding. I am NOT happy that that was necessary. The propane tanks were filled today. The bill for this house is $1,000. Not happy about that either. Some changes are going to be made. We should get the bill for the Old House in a few days as they usually mail that one. So on that uniformly "not happy" note, I'm heading out. Tomorrow/today should be the last day I have to "go dark" to conserve megabytes. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Morning. I think... I pulled "night shift" on flood prevention. I was up until 7 am when the water in the drain stopped rising, went to bed and got up at around 9:40 am. My brain isn't fully engaged yet so my memory's a little foggy. We're back from town. I checked the rain gauge before we left. Last night's total was 1.65 inches in less than 18 hours, more or less. As soon as Skywise is on his way, I'm gonna crash. Hard.

	Afternoon. We were very lucky yesterday, we only got .10 in. of rain -- enough to keep everything wet and muddy but not enough to raise the water level in the ground. We've made the recycling run and as soon as I can stand on my left leg -- yes, "bad leg day" today -- I'll start on the chores that got backed up while we were on flood control duty....
