	The legs have been giving me hell today but I've avoided taking painkillers. I've been taking more than I like so I've stayed off my feet as much as possible and I hope to do better tomorrow. Now, since I'm very tired I'm going to head out although some butter pecan ice cream is in my immediate future. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. We went into town to get a few things and eat. As soon as Skywise leaves, I'll be tackling the dishes which I swear have been breeding! It seems that the sink is always full no matter how many dishes I wash! It's a conspiracy!

	I've reduced the breeding population of dirty dishes significantly. It would help if I could stand up for longer periods but I can't so I do as much as I can before I have to get off my feet. I have a dishwasher full of dishes drying now and I'll do more once I can put them away. Unfortunately, my relatively new dishwasher -- bought in 2015 -- is unable to get dishes clean or even rinsed completely so I have to do them by hand. So much for glowing reviews on Amazon!

	Third load of laundry in the washer. I think that will be it for the night. "Weather" is supposed to be heading this way -- oh happy day! -- and I hope it misses us. I don't feel like spending the night holding back another flood.

	Afternoon. No heavy weather yet but they still say it's coming but the longer it holds off the more the ground will drain and lessen the likelihood of the basement flooding.... Sometime when I wasn't looking, SCI Fiber installed the Network Interface Box on the side of the house. It is small and low to the ground so that when I looked out the back door, I couldn't see it. The electric meter was in the way. So.. we're in the home stretch in the race to get fiber internet. I can hardly wait. It's nice to be at the top of the list for a change.....

	The rain stopped after about an hour -- no downpour just a nice gentle rain that didn't turn the front yard into a lake for which I am pathetically grateful. Skywise hasn't called yet but I'm heading out. My eyes are burning/watering and that is usually a strong hint to call it a night. So everyone sleep well and be safe.

	And the next day.... it rained some more! We got a quarter of in inch yesterday and the gauge is between a quarter and a half now -- I did NOT stand in the rain to get the exact amount. We made the produce run and had lunch for breakfast. Now I'll be waiting to see if the drain backs up....

	I'm probably too honest for Facebook. I call it like I see it and say so.. and I'm rather blunt about it. That upsets people. Tough [expletive deleted]! I have no time or patience for walking on eggshells for strangers. I will NOT engage them in a fruitless, time wasting "discussion". Entitled "cows" using the aisles for catching up with their fellow cows in Walmart are bad enough! (Apologies to genuine cows)

	Facebook is annoying in and of itself. The books it is suggesting that I read are boring, repetitive in theme and the plots read like "one from column A, one from column B and one from column C. Explicit sex and Happily Ever After optional." In short, drek churned out as fast as possible for epublishing. Too many people want to aggravate me by pulling me into dead end conversations that I don't want to have. The fact that their damned comments appear as pop-ups in front of what I'm trying to read and ON EVERY SINGLE FB TAB I HAVE OPEN only serves to annoy me. Additionally, none of these people is anyone I'd WANT to talk to. So, I'm off FB for the night in the hope that the morons will forget about me by morning. I've about reached the point were I'm not going to comment about anything of substance. It isn't worth the aggravation.

	No luck with dinner. Guess I'll fast until tomorrow. First the local Wendy's closed due to I-69 construction and now the Dairy Queen. 	Still "processing" ENDGAME. The rain finally stopped at .75 inches. I've been so nervous about more flooding that I've been waking up with the shakes. Not good. Now that we're looking at a couple of dry days, at least, my nerves should settle down. Hope so anyway.
