	Afternoon. I got a solid night's sleep last night. No rain so no worries about the basement flooding. It doesn't take much water to make a hell of a mess. It's a beautiful day today and I hope any rain this week holds off or better yet, passes us completely!

	The phone is fixed but they aren't finished yet. The SCI Fiber guys cut the phone cable -- "chopped" was the word the repairman used -- and a new cable is currently on the ground waiting to be buried. Hopefully that will happen before it starts raining again and the internet cable won't get cut in the process. fingers crossed

	I've come to the conclusion that if I have a "soul family/tribe" they are either not living on this planet, not incarnated in human bodies at all, are hiding from me because they want nothing to do with me or don't exist. With the exception of Skywise and the girls, everyone who has come into my life has waltzed right out again -- declarations of eternal friendship notwithstanding -- and more often than not they leave a knife in my back as a parting gift. Which makes me doubt the existence of soul family/friends/mates. I don't doubt that they exist for others, just not for me. I'm slowly becoming reconciled to the idea.

	Afternoon. No "burying the phone cable" guys yet. We made a quick trip into town for milk -- running out of milk is NOT an option! Paid a couple of bills and now I'm getting caught up.

	The word has come! SCI Fiber is ready to install our internet. We have only to set up an account and schedule the appointment! More Then we can give our current ISP a and tell them to take their data limits and shove them! We'll have to pay off the contract but IT WILL BE WORTH IT!!!

	Our SCI Fiber account is set up. Installation is scheduled for May 15 @ 10 am. More Soon HughesNet will be a thing of the past! Sanctuary's software may have an issue with the change but if it does, I'll give D a yell and he can persuade it to cooperate.

	sigh I am already SO BORED with the "discussions" on FB about AoS. Some people are bitching -- loudly -- because the events in ENDGAME haven't been mentioned when, in fact, it is pretty much a sure thing that ENDGAME is four years in AoS's future. What I take away from the opening minutes of this first episode is that, since the Battle of Wakanda was going on at the end of last season's last episode, the Snap happened and they are a year into the Dissolution. Things are holding together but only for the moment. The decline that was evident once the story jumped five years ahead occurred over time and even then, as shown by Scott Lang's searching for his daughter or someone who could tell him what happened, some areas looked "normal". I pointed out -- not that anyone likely paid any attention -- that only a very few people knew what had really happened. So there wouldn't be any headlines screaming "THANOS DESTROYS HALF OF ALL LIFE!" sigh I'm going to bed since I can. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	The internet -- facebook specifically -- has now become irritating which isn't a bad thing since I've been bumped offline due to rain once already tonight. I think I'll curl up with the aquaponics book I'm reading and ignore FB for a few hours.
