	After doing some quick "overview" research, knee "replacement" surgery will have to wait until Skywise has retired. I'd need to be in the hospital for several days and would need his help for weeks/months afterward while I recovered and rehabbed. Then there is the fact that it might not help the pain at all. Oh happy day. And let's not forget the cost of all that.... So it's going to be on the back burner for the foreseeable future. I took 1000 mg of aspirin about half an hour ago. It is time to get prone until it kicks in.

	Dinner is cooking and my left knee is throbbing. Skywise hasn't called yet but I'm going to head out anyway. Once I've had dinner, I'll continue to cook down the BBQ. It is "almost" thick enough when hot. I just have to be careful not to scorch it. Good eatin' when it's done.... Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Bad as I hate to, aspirin is in my immediate future. I can hardly walk. On the plus side, I have pulled beef BBQ since it is recommended that aspirin be taken on a full stomach if possible.

	The aspirin has worked. It's easier to walk now. More rain is moving in. sigh Absolutely no danger of drought this year unless it stops raining and doesn't start again until October -- which isn't looking likely at this point.

	Afternoon. It was cloudy and rainy this morning but the sun is out now. We're back on our work schedule now and are adjusting. I'll admit it. I'm looking forward to retirement even though it is still a few years away. It's much easier to adjust to "not" going to work than it is adjusting to "going" to work. Knee pain has let up. I'm hoping to skip painkillers for a while.

	Greetings! We're back from a shopping marathon. My legs are killing me but we got a lot accomplished. The sun is out and it feels like June. Hopefully it will stay that way. We passed a lot of farmers working their fields on the way home. If the tractors have lights, they'll probably work after dark. Now to get caught up.

	YAY and good morning! There is not a drop of rain anywhere in the state and none to the west of us either. The temperature is comfortable and the sun is out. Hopefully, it will stay that way for a while! I am now going to get caught up.
