	The rain has moved out. Still waiting for the predicted high winds. We got 1⅝ inches of rain out of the storm and it came over a long enough period that there was no flooding.

	Afternoon. Back from seeing the dietitian. I know what I can eat which is a lot more than I'd thought. I'm definitely Type 2 with simplifies things enormously. I'll be spending the day researching and figuring out the carb count of what I eat.

	I changed the recipe I use for pizza crust and Spirit likes it! I'll start my medication -- straight up Metformin -- in the morning at "firstmeal". I'll take a glucose reading before bed and another in the morning before I eat. Skywise is on his way home so I'm heading out. I still have some exercises to do. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Morning. Back from the doctor. She shot my knees up with cortisone and lidocaine so I'm feeling no pain at the moment. We're hoping I'll get two weeks of relief from it. I have to take it easy today until the cortisone has a chance to work. The lidocaine will wear off in a few hours.

	Afternoon. We're back from a run to the UPS Store -- to return that book that I didn't order -- and to Target for kitty litter. I had a very low carb lunch -- Coke Zero is very good and NO carbs -- so I have a few carbs to save for dinner, not that I'm going to splurge. I'll be baking a cake for Halloween -- Moonie has *IDEAS* -- so I'll need to be careful and do much number crunching to get an idea of how much of it I can eat.
