	Afternoon. Happy Halloween. It's snowing..... Two of the books I ordered have arrived. So have the vintage Pyrex canisters I ordered. Just waiting on the UPS man now.

	The third book -- a food journal -- is a bit of a disappointment but I'll have something better by the time this one is full. It is cold, windy with light snow flurries. Hardly Halloween weather -- unless you're on Hoth. Moonie is decorating the cake and I'm getting ready to do my pt exercises.

	Afternoon. Back from Saturday errands. Since I'm getting a better idea about how I'm going to eat, I picked up several "protein" sources at the grocery. I also found a helpful publication in B&N's magazine rack that I'll probably subscribe to next week. All in all, a good day so far.

	Afternoon. Back from town for lunch and grocery shopping. Today's mission was "breakfast food" that needs minimal or no cooking that Skywise and I can both eat. The pickings are slim. The fact that the store was crowded and getting run over was a distinct possibility didn't help matters! Anyway we're back and I have supplements to take.

	I've just done my glucose test -- the result was very good -- and I heading out. Sleep is very important in controlling glucose, ya know. Anyway, everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Morning. Back from PT, shopping and lunch. We have a turkey!! This is good! My therapist is pleased with me and that's also good. No new exercises, thank the Gods, I can concentrate on the ones I have. We did more poking around in Walmart's grocery section after we found the turkey. It was very depressing from a sodium and carb standpoint but Skywise did find an old favorite lunch meat that he can still eat which made him happy. I'm currently nosing around the internet researching low carb substitutes for Bisquick that I could use to make biscuits and pancakes. I prefer French toast but at this point, I'll take what I can get.....
