	Moonie reports that the mouse that was in the dining room earlier this week is now in my bedroom. On top of the curtains. It evaded her and is probably under my dresser now. The cats are slacking.....

	What's happening is that Photobucket has apparently suspended/deleted my account and every avatar and signature I hosted there. I've got some of them saved but I can't remember how to load them. I "thought" when I paid their extortion fee I wouldn't have to worry about it.

	Afternoon. He got home after 4 am. He's on his way again. I told him if we can get through today and Friday -- and maybe Saturday (he doesn't know yet) -- we'll be in the clear because the mail volume always drops off this close to Christmas since there's no delivery -- expect for "specials" -- on Christmas day. As for me, I have three 5 pound apple pies to bake today.... What are they going to do for dessert when he retires?

	The pies are out and cooling and I'll be starting the pizzas soon. Dinner will be a little late tonight but that's understandable given that apple pies occupy every flat space in the kitchen!

	I've finally eaten dinner and taken my pills. Unless Skywise works really late -- which I hope he doesn't -- I'll be checking my glucose sooner than I like but it can't be helped. 	Afternoon. The pies are all packed up and ready to go. Skywise will be leaving shortly. He doesn't know yet if he's working Saturday or not. "Not" I hope. He needs a full weekend. I'm going to get some tea and get caught up before I start cleaning up the kitchen. I have another pie to bake -- for us -- but it won't be a five pounder "super pie". just two pounds and reasonably diabetic friendly so I can have some if I'm careful.

	Moonie is learning what is involved in making apple pie. She's been helping me and she just shoved a pie in the oven. I did the measuring and she did everything else. Now she's thinking about peach pie. I'll have to find a recipe. Also... cherry pie.

	Dinner's over. Headache finally let up. Still another hour to go before I take my glucose reading -- which will probably be high 'cause I had a small piece of pie. I expect to be "good" tomorrow, and pretty good the rest of the week so as long as my numbers don't move out of the low prediabetic/high normal range I'm good.

	Evening. We saw The Rise of Skywalker today. A great movie and a very satisfying end to the Skywalker family story. I took a much needed nap after we got home and now I'm catching up. I wish there was more info on the US Space Force but I'll be patient.....

	Afternoon. We're back from town. Today's "To Do" list involves making cinnamon rolls and wrapping presents. One thing about wrapping presents today -- it cuts down on the furkids opportunities to unwrap them before Christmas! I've modified the cinnamon roll recipe to make it a little more "diabetic friendly". It still has a bunch of carbs from the flour but if I'm careful, I should be able to eat one, especially if I make them small rather than the size of a bread plate! I'm going to get caught up then start my chores after Skywise leaves for work. I expect him to get home earlier tonight than he has been.
