	Morning and MERRY CHRISTMAS!! The girls and I slept in this morning -- the girls are still in their rooms, presumably asleep -- and Skywise is around somewhere, probably "decompressing" from work which has been hell this year. We'll open our presents when everyone is awake. That's one good thing about all of us being adults, no waking up at the crack of dawn on Christmas Day to open presents!

	Presents have been opened. I really like what Skywise got me. One thing is pretty and one is useful. More than that I can't say. He likes what I got him. One is entertainment (a DVD) and the other two are books which he dove into as soon as he opened the packages. Moonie is happy too. And so is Spirit. And.... the first load of laundry is in the washer. He was out of clean shirts for work.

	Dinner is over. I probably ate too much carbohydrate but since I've eaten practically nothing today, I'm probably under my allotment for the entire day not just one meal. My research has confirmed that metformin causes a loss of appetite as well as nausea (which I'm not having, thank goodness!) and the last few days I've really been off my feed. I'm losing weight at an acceptably slow rate but I miss enjoying food. It's a real downer to make a wonderful meal and having to choke it down.

	Afternoon. We're back from payday banking and getting caught up. It's chilly and gloomy so I think the weather is about to get "seasonal" again after being "springlike" for most of the week. Ah.. weather in Indiana.

	I've been hunting up stakes, cord and tape measures for a major project back in the woods we'll want to start on, probably in the spring. I'm pretty sure I have a 100 ft. tape but I can't find it and we're going to need it. Laying things out in 50' increments is NOT going to work!

	Dinner is eaten. Mine, anyway. Spirit had lasagna. She won't eat Chicken Alfredo with or without broccoli. Fortunately, there is a frozen lasagna that she's fond of so she had that. Skywise and Moonie are having second helpings. My knees are very unhappy. They did not like standing at the workstation slicing chicken into little bite sized pieces. I am now resting my legs.
