	Skywise is on his way to work. It's still raining and will for the rest of the day and night. The Flash Flood Watch is creeping northward. We may find ourselves on an island again. sigh All state schools are closed until May 1st. The deadlines for state taxes have been pushed back until July.

	Still raining. Expecting thunderstorms later. Moonie is washing dishes while I work on editing the next "preparedness document" I've complied. I don't expect things to settle down much -- among other things, the schools are closed until May 1st and maybe for the year -- but I'm hoping that once we have a routine and Spirit is used to it, I'll be able to write rather than edit. I just can't concentrate right now. The fact that Skywise doesn't have the option of "working from home" and is around large numbers of coworkers every day does NOT help...

	Went out to eat and get cleaning equipment. Will now return to basement cleaning. Knees feel like hell. Have taken aspirin. Will rejoin the cleaning team when I can move which I can't do right now.

	We had 3¼ ins. of rain since it started Wednesday. Moonie says there are more "dry spots" in the basement.

	Skywise and I got a nap in, vital since we didn't get to bed until nearly 5 am. He didn't go to work today. A "flooded basement" counts as reason for emergency leave. Currently thinking about dinner which I don't usually worry about on Friday.

	We decided to go into town for Arby's. I'll eat again later so I can take my pills and check my glucose at the more or less normal time. The grocery area of Walmart was practically stripped and there was a certain "air of desperation" around some people. Our habit of doing our major shopping every two weeks and using more than one store is serving us well. We may not have exactly what we want but we won't go hungry either. Post #42,542

	Spirit saw me wearing a fabric mask -- pink -- today and decided to wear one too. Moonie joined in so at least I don't have to worry about getting Spirit to wear a mask if it becomes necessary.

	There is now at least one confirmed case of CoVid-19 in this county. No word on where in the county this person is located. Mooresville is practically in Marion County so that person could be from there but.... the Health Department isn't saying. Post # 42,550

	Afternoon. Skywise is on his way. He had a doctor's appointment this morning but they were able to do it over the phone. I won't be so lucky when my turn comes next month as you can't do an A1c test over the phone. Not to mention other things the doctor will want to check. And... as I expected. The Governor has issued a statewide "Stay At Home" order going into effect Tuesday night at 11:59 pm. It's gonna be crazy tomorrow. We wouldn't even go into town but Skywise has a prescription to pick up. While he's doing that, I'll look to see if a few minor things are available. If they are, great. If not.. no biggie.

	The owner of the local comic/hobby shop is having a hissy fit because he has to close his shop while the liquor stores stay open. Earlier today, he was inviting people to hang out at this store before the "stay at home" order goes into effect. He says that a group of ten people -- more or less -- won't cause a pandemic. He obviously hasn't looked at the CDCs information on how disease is spread. He also claims that no one who attended the big Chicago convention a couple of weeks ago has gotten Covid-19. I'd like to know how he knows that. He might be "local" but I'm glad my fannish activities don't include him. Post # 42,555
