	I've just taken a painkiller. The cortisone wore off last month and the way things are, I don't know when I'll be able to get another injection. Oh happy day. I was getting used to not being in pain.....

	SunLord finally removed himself from my foot so I can now get close enough to the computer to type reasonably well. I've made no headway with getting the pattern. The site won't let me set up a new account, believes I already have one, won't send me a "new" password so I can reset it. Skywise just called. He's on his way. He's working tomorrow. I'm heading out. Everyone sleep well, be safe and stay healthy.

	Afternoon. Back from a lunch run. We can't do most of our usual Saturday routine but at least we can have a "normal" lunch even if it isn't in the usual place. Skywise made a quick trip into Walmart and found out that the maximum capacity during this time is 1,000. There were only 107 customers in the store at that time so we know about when/what days to come in. Now to get caught up.

	Went into town for lunch. Picked up a few things at Rural King and came home. We'll get milk and a few other things tomorrow when the store won't be so crowded. Dr. Fauci stated the obvious today -- that Covid-19 will likely be "seasonal" like the flu. Skywise and I -- having paid attention in science class -- already knew this. It has/will come as a shock to those who didn't pay attention. I told Skywise to brace himself for work tomorrow. His co-workers are already on the verge of meltdown. The Surgeon General, Jerome Adams, says this will be the "hardest and saddest week of most Americans' lives." I believe him, especially for those too young to remember 9/11.

	The painkillers finally kicked in and I got some things done at the Old House so it will be free for Skywise to use tomorrow. I need to see if I have what I need to continue work on what I was working on today. If not, I'll shift gears and continue another project.

	Unless Walmart calls and says I have another prescription ready -- test strips -- we shouldn't have to go back for a while. I've been filling in the "nooks and crannies" in my pantry to cut down on trips for something I overlooked when I made out my shopping lists. Now all I have to do is stay on top of my supply lists so I don't run short. Not gonna watch any government briefings today. Until there's important news -- which will be reported all over -- the briefings are mainly "pep-talks" with Q & A -- which are annoying -- afterward. A new novel arrived today so I'll be reading it and a couple of pandemic preparedness books instead.

	Quiet day so far. They did some, what I assume is, "preplanting" work on the field across the road. Other than that, it's been very quiet. You can mow the grass only so many times and everyone around here, except us 'cause Skywise is working, already has.
