	Morning. Today is Skywise's birthday. He's "caught up with me" for the next six months or so until my birthday. I'm not having a good day so far. A package was delivered this morning and because it was flimsy, not everything was in it so we'll have to go to the post office and file a claim -- provided the damned building is even open.

	Afternoon. Skywise has been using this computer while I work on my new journal cover. The trim I ordered arrived today -- rather than tomorrow -- and I've been happily sewing it on -- when the thread doesn't decide to tangle... I am taking a short break before I get back at it.

	I finished sewing the trim on and received an email from the vendor I ordered an embroidered patch from. It's finished and on the way. I expect to have this particular project done next week. Then I'll start another one! I need to keep my brain and fingers occupied with something other than the pandemic. My glucose has been a bit elevated and I think stress is the cause if the nightmares I've been having are any indication. I'm spending very little time on facebook -- going in long enough to check on people and look at cats and kittens -- and avoiding all news as much as I can. I'd planned to take up meditation again and I'll be doing that sooner rather than later. It should help my blood pressure too which is wanting to creep up for no reason other than stress.

	Afternoon. Busy and trying day. Moonie's glasses fell off her face while she was bent over and the frames broke at the nosepiece. Have NO idea when or where we can get them fixed or replaced.

	SCREAM!!!! Skywise was nearly hit by a truck at work, he fell five feet off the loading dock, broke his glasses and banged up his knee and the rest of him. He was being taken in to be checked out when he called me. I expect him home early.... It's a good thing I don't drink 'cause right now, I'd need one!

	He's okay considering. He's taking tomorrow off -- I doubt there will be a problem getting the leave approved. He has a couple of prescriptions to take for pain and the back muscles he sprained rolling out of the way. I'm trying to remember to breathe and I'll attempt to avoid breaking his ribs with hugging when he gets home....

	Went to town for very late lunch/early dinner and got the number of the pizza place where Moonie wanted to have dinner on her birthday. No "dine in" there so it will be carry out pizza at home with birthday cake and optional ice cream.

	Been studying and paying bills. I've started a new course of study -- or will next month since my ducks need to be in a row and some of the little fluffbums haven't even hatched yet! What I've been doing is reading the supplemental material on the instructor's blog and there's nearly three years' worth there and she is NOT a woman of few words so reading and digesting it all will take a while.

	Afternoon. I've been watching a YouTube that Skywise found. It's pretty good. When he got up this morning, Skywise said he felt like he'd worked a 12 hour shift. He will be taking it easier today, let me tell you. Now I'm going to get caught up before I get back to my studying.

	I've been studying all afternoon. When I thought I'd reached a "stopping point" I found out I hadn't. Skywise finally exercised "spousal privilege and ordered me away from the computer. The embroidered patch I ordered for the journal cover "should" arrive between the 5th and the 7th. No word yet on when the patch for the book cover will come. Soon, I hope.
