This is my current, non-pandemic problem. (No, it won't fit in the bathtub and even if it did, we'd never get it out of the house to dry it outside...) Post # 43,200 I'm getting an idea. Need to do some checking tomorrow...

	I have a headache. I think it's "food withdrawal" (sounds better than "hunger headache) since I haven't eaten since breakfast. I should do something about that. I talked to Skywise about my solution to the rug washing problem and he agrees that it will work. He says we should get swimsuits for the project since we're bound to get wet....

	Afternoon. Skywise is on his way to work. I have some chores plus some non-fiction editing to do. I need to study the material so it needs to be edited and printed out so I can work with it without being stuck in front of the computer -- not the best location for this type of study. So.. I have plenty to keep me busy while Skywise isn't here. sigh

	Skywise has called and he's on his way. He said that it was weird downtown. It's Saturday night and there's practically no one down there. Lucas Oil Stadium is closed, no crowds pouring out after a game. Same with the Fieldhouse and the Convention Center. It's a ghost town like it was decades ago before they started developing downtown. Here's hoping it's not forever....

	Afternoon. Not feeling too good today. Something I ate, probably on Friday, didn't agree with me and my body is letting me know. I need tea and to take my medication which should be taken with food. This should be interesting....

	Skywise and the girls went into town for lunch. Sensibly, I've stayed home. So far, my innards are behaving..... Skywise and Spirit finished cutting up and clearing out the last pieces of tree in the yard. Spirit got a nasty gouge on one finger but she bandaged it up like a pro. She'll have to be careful for a few days until the scab is on tight but she can bend the finger so nothing vital was damaged.

	Spirit has discarded her bandage and the wound is staying closed. Her knuckle is badly bruised but the joint works okay so it's gonna be ugly for a while but we aren't expecting any permanent damage. Skywise and the girls brought home pizza from Gatti's. I've had some and now we see if it stays put!

	I've been assessing what needs to be done downstairs. The verdict... A lot. On the plus side, while I couldn't find what I was looking for, I managed to reach a storage cabinet and while a bit dusty, everything inside is intact with no water damage. So... One less thing to be cleaned!

	Greetings. I had the chance to sleep in a bit this morning and I took it. The cold front finally went through last night and it's much cooler. My guts are a bit calmer this morning. I hope I'm getting to the end of this. It's a damned nuisance. Now to see if the world is still out there and if I want any part of it.....

	Spirit just came upstairs. She's been crying. She misses movies. And museums. I asked her how she'd feel about a home theater in the basement. I described what we'd do and she seemed to like it. I also told her that the Children's Museum was going to have a haunted "something" this year since their traditional "Haunted House" isn't doable -- absolutely NO way to social distance! That seemed to comfort her a little. The list of "rearranging" in the basement just got longer.....

	Skywise has called. No catastrophes at work, just a fellow supervisor who needed an ear and Skywise is a good one to talk to. He knows how to keep his mouth shut.
