	Spirit and I have hauled a trash can full of moldy newspapers up the basement stairs, out the back door, around to the front of the house and wrestled the bag into the really BIG trash can for pickup on Tuesday morning. I may be crippled for the rest of the night -- maybe the rest of the week -- but... THAT DAMNED CHORE IS OFF MY TO DO LIST!!!! Since finding more metal shelving is proving to be a bit of a problem, I'm going to change my basement reorganizing project. It'll be extra work but it can't be helped. It has to be done....

	Apparently, Facebook is going to "remodel" again. Some flunky or flunkies must need something to do to justify their paychecks. I have to wonder how much longer FB will be around. There is a lot of anger out there over the way that they censor people who don't follow the liberal line. I don't know if any laws -- official ones anyway -- are being broken but with AoS off the air, I'll be spending even less time on my news feed. I'll go on long enough to fill my page with cute cats and check on my friends and a few other groups -- AoS was the main one -- but honestly, I can live without FB as long as I can come here and there's no reason why I shouldn't be able to.

	Well, I just finished cleaning up a bunch of broken glass (puncturing myself in the process) with Moonie's help. Naturally, part of the dish -- clear glass and nearly invisible -- pretty much atomized and it was hell finding it all which was vital because of the cats. Once the area is dry, we'll check one last time for "sparkles" that don't belong there. It's a 35 year old floor. It hasn't "sparkled" for a long, LONG time! Post # 43,243

	Afternoon. Back from town and with the television on. Because they won't be having fans at the Track this year -- DAMNED COVID-19!! -- the 500 is being televised LIVE -- which is the ONLY thing good about this situation. Channel 13 has done their normal Race Day thing and NBC is now taking over. Green flag is at 2:30 so there will be all the usual bells and whistles. Now to watch!!

	FedEx driver still hasn't found the place even though he drove past us around 11:30 this morning. I'd wager a small sum that before it's over, FedEx will hand the package off to the Post Office. Say what you will about the USPS, they can find us and NOT just because a postal worker lives here.....

	Feeling anxious. We're expecting "Leftover" Hurricane Laura on Friday with the possibility of severe thunderstorms and after the last go-round I'm not looking forward to it. I didn't realize how bad it was last time until I could look around the next morning. I guess all I can do is batten things down and hope for the best. I REALLY wish -- and not for the first time -- that we had a Formworks house......
