Afternoon.
Back from the produce run and lunch.
Getting caught up while Warrior Princess lays in my lap doing unlicensed accupuncture on my left knee...... *ouch*

This damned computer restarted on its own and lost everything I'd found in my searches.
NOT HAPPY!!!

I'm tired.
I'm frustrated.
I hurt.

I'm tired of hurting and being frustrated 'cause I hurt and I have a ton and more of stuff that HAS TO BE DONE and I can't do any of it!

Bummed.
I wasn't able to do anything of significance today thanks to my damned knees.
I need injections -- like the ones I had before or something different, which we were planning to do in April or thereabouts -- and those can't be done over the phone. Over the counter painkillers thin my blood and "can" cause stomach problems in someone my age. Prescription painkillers are worse in the side effects department, especially when "take as needed" turns out to be "daily" or two or three times a day. So I have to sit or lay around in pain while the work piles up...  Cry

Afternoon.
We're back from payday shopping. I have a ton of stuff to put away. *sigh* Skywise is on his way to work so I'll get started on that once I get caught up.

I got a little done today. Not much but some.
I'm beginning to resign myself to the fact that until I can see my doctor and get some kind of injections in my knees, I'm going to be in constant pain of varying degrees of severity.
The painkillers aren't working that well and I'm afraid to take more than the recommended dose or the recommended dose more often. I don't need to have holes eaten in my digestive tract on top of everything else.
I will attempt to keep the bitching about my knee pain to a minimum...  Cry

Afternoon.
We're home and Skywise is on his way to a co-worker's wedding. The girls and I are holding down the fort until he gets back.
Looking forward to vacation in a couple of weeks.
Gotta check my stock of wood for parts I can use for the cabinet I'm going to build.

Nothing suitable.
On the plus side, the door handles I ordered arrived today.
See below.

I need a decent sized woven basket.
I'm going to have to learn basket weaving to get what I need 'cause I can't find one online or in the craft stores.

The chili experiment was a success -- meaning that Spirit liked it -- so we'll be getting more canned ground beef for emergencies.

Slept in this morning.
It's another beautiful day and I hope my knees will let me enjoy it.
Now to get caught up.

Might get outside yet.

Just ordered some "decorative" stuff for the scrapbook project. There was a price reduction and I saved over $32 on the order. Yes, I'm pleased about that and my "impulse control"!

It might be a holiday but we've been busy. Now we're in for the day.
Thank goodness. Now to get caught up.

Just mailed off the requested image to the vendor. Now I wait for the "proof".

Dealing with a bunch of idiots on FB that don't know how to read and/or having reading comprehension in the lower primary grades.  Smiley
I refuse to deal with them tonight -- if ever. I have my blood pressure to think of!
Pizza dough is rising and the trash has been taken out.

Too bad the "trash" on Facebook" isn't being taken out.....

Ordered some black onyx beads for a project and found a book we've been looking for for days now.
I'll pay for it tomorrow -- much heavy lifting and holding my body at strange angles -- but it's worth it.

Found two more books Skywise was looking for so he's happy and the Great Book Hunt is over.
I'm going to take my soon to be aching (more) body to bed.

Afternoon.
Nowhere to be this morning so I slept in. I've had a bite of breakfast so I could take my morning pill and now I'm going to get caught up.

Knees hurt but I'm managing to get some things done.

Attempting to coordinate the ancient Greek Lunar calendar with the modern Gregorian calendar is giving me a splitting headache -- which I don't need! I'll get it figured out/coordinated but it's gonna take some time -- more than I have right now at least.  Smiley
It would be nice to discover that someone had written a software program which would do it once you had entered the moon phases, solstices and equinox dates but I don't think anyone that knowledgeable has taken on the task. Or at least, I haven't found them yet....

My knees are "twinging" intermittently and painfully so. This is new and I really hope it doesn't become a regular "thing".
New and innovative ways for them to hurt I can do without....
