	Afternoon. Busy. Busy. Busy. Which describes most of our mornings these days. Skywise is on his way and I'm getting caught up while I get my "To Do" list organized.... And.... a mouse just "attacked" Moonie in the bathroom. WP is on the job. She hasn't caught it yet but she will if Moonie doesn't get it first...

	I just found a book I loved as a child "The Little Witch". It was originally published in 1953. My copy is probably stored up at the Old House somewhere but I just bought a new copy -- an anniversary edition. I look forward to reading it again.

	I've neglected to mention that the "attack mouse" was apprehended last night/this morning. At 4 am. WP and SunLord had it in our bedroom. The ruckus got my attention. WP ran out of the room with it in her mouth. I yelled for Moonie, who was awake. (Normal for her at that time of night.) WP either released or dropped the mouse in the dining room. Moonie couldn't find it. The Prince did. Moonie went after the mouse, pushing the Prince aside. He tried to get back into position but Spirit grabbed him and handed him off to me. The mouse, showing enormous good sense and survival instinct, ran straight into the "capture jar" (a thoroughly cleaned out peanut butter jar) that Moonie was trying to herd it into. Moonie put the lid on the jar, got her shoes on and headed out the front door, depositing the very lucky mouse safely away from the house, unlike the dead mouse we'd found on our bedroom floor that morning. Seldom a dull moment around here....

	Afternoon. Morning errands are done and I'm in for the day. Which is good 'cause I need to "manage the energies" right now. I'll be working on that once Skywise heads out. Thank goodness his vacation starts soon. That will be one source of stress out of our lives for three weeks!

	Afternoon. Back from Saturday errands. I got a bunch of wood for the cabinet project so I'm happy about that. I'll need to go to Home Depot next week for some 2 x 2, at least 12 feet worth. Then I'll need to order three ¾" x 24" x 6 feet panels -- which will have to be delivered to the store since they don't keep them in stock and then figure out what I need to make one of them 37½ inches wide. Or... get only 2 panels and figure out which smaller pieces I could glue together to make a 37½ inch panel for the back of the cabinet.

	Afternoon. It looks like I forgot to say "goodnight" last night. In my defense, I'd just finished a 138 page document for the "scrapbook" project and my brain was barely functioning. It was so bad that Skywise noticed. I may have been asleep before I hit the pillow. Hell, I may have been asleep before I got into bed for that matter! I managed a little yard work that I wanted to do yesterday that I didn't get to 'cause of "stuff". So I've done that and how I get to do.... As many loads as I can get dry. Then there is also.... to do too...as always. Better get busy.

	I finished the landscaping project that I intended to do yesterday, or at least, it is as finished as it's going to get until I decide what else to do with it. I'm thinking of adding a bench and working around that. It's going to be a "sort of" secluded area but not too far from the house but not easily visible from the road. This area isn't nearly as "remote" as it was when I was a kid or even when we moved here and that makes me sad. If the county couldn't maintain the road and it had to go back to dirt and gravel, I wouldn't mind at all..... Post # 43,350

	Morning. Moonie and I had dental appointments this morning. We both got clean bills of dental health so we're good for six months. We're hoping that by then things will be "more normal".

	Expecting FOUR packages today and one tomorrow. As soon as they arrive, I'll check them out then go up to the Old House to start work on the cabinet I'm building. It will have to be assembled in the basement but I can do some of the work at the Old House which is good 'cause space is STILL at a premium in the basement!
