	Afternoon. Had lunch in town and shopped. A special (Greek Key) template I ordered came today so I'll be spending some time working on a design. Another template is due tomorrow so more work then too. Now to get caught up.

	I worked on the design and now, thanks to using a LOT of Sharpies I have a headache but at least I know that the design won't work for what I intended but will work for something else. I'll just have to figure out how to draw a round "Greek Key" design the size I need....

	Afternoon. We're back from the produce run. The rain has stopped and we "should" have a few hours to "dry out" ["dry" being relative] before the next band of rain arrives. If it sinks south, we won't get rained on again at all. Now to get caught up.

	I've been putting illustrations into my word document. I should finish tonight or tomorrow. THEN I get to start transcribing the text that goes with them. THAT will be a long job. The alphabet pictures need to be colored too. Another long job. Oh well, winter is coming so there's time for "long jobs".

	Skywise is home. Coming down to the house he discovered that a tree that I'd been expecting to fall for some time had done so, happily missing the van by a wide margin. Fortunately, my shopping list for tomorrow is very short since we will be using the car. We won't be getting the van out of the driveway until the tree is out of the way. sigh At least it missed the van and I can stop wondering when it will fall over. And on that note, I'm heading out. Tomorrow will be busy. Everyone sleep well, be safe and STAY HEALTHY!!!

	Afternoon. We're back from town and Skywise is cutting up the fallen tree over the driveway. Painkillers are in my immediate future since my knees are killing me and I have a lot to do today that requires me to be on my feet. But first, I will quickly get caught up.

	Driveway is cleared. Waiting for the painkillers to kick in. Amazon thinks I'm a druggie. I ordered a small grinder from them to make incense and now they're recommending all sort of drug "accessories" for me to buy. If I WANTED that kind of stuff, I'd have "searched" for it!

	I'm thinking that next Tuesday I'm going to need some project -- maybe more than one -- to keep busy with while the election returns come in since my fingernails aren't all that long at the moment -- it's been a rough month -- and I really don't want to chew my fingers bloody. Or pick at my cuticles until they're bloody. So I'll have a beading project ready and probably a couple, maybe three, coloring pages ready to go.....

	Projects: Let's see..... beaded, black and silver choker to match headband and knife scabbard. Coloring page for letter "B". Coloring page for letter "C". Coloring page for letter "D".... maybe. That should be enough if things don't go on as long as they did in 2016. Hopefully there will be an early Electoral College landslide and it will be over in time to get a decent night's sleep!

	The "printer" part of the scanner/printer attached to this computer doesn't handle cardstock very well. If I need a "clean" copy on cardstock, it's going to have to be printed downstairs. Fortunately the copies I just made are for working out color combinations on the letters for the word document I'm working on so it doesn't matter that much. When I have the colors worked out, I'll color the original, scan it into the computer and put it in the document. I've printed "B" and "C". I'll make copies of D, E and F later. I don't feel like hobbling downstairs right now.....

	Baked goods are out of the oven. I couldn't make cupcakes because my cupcake pans won't fit in the countertop oven I have to use now. So I made a 9 in square cake and a spirited debate is in progress about icing colors. My head hurts.

	The internet is boring tonight so I've started working on the letter "B". The design is simpler than "A" was and I'm getting the easy part done first. The letter itself will be in three shades of blue, the leaves and the eyes of the cats "grass green". The rest of it is to be decided. Since there's nothing to keep me in front of the comp tonight, I'm going to take my Prismacolor pencils and head out. Everyone sleep well, be safe, STAY HEALTHY!!! and...... 	Morning. I managed to sleep enough to reset my "internal clock" this morning, thank goodness. It's chilly this morning -- 45 degrees and dropping -- and it's as warm now as it will get today. Went out late last night and looked at the moon and Mars. The moon was right overhead. I got a crick in my neck but it was worth it.

	Windy as hell. Weatherdudes are saying that the northeast corner of the state could see snow. This doesn't surprise me. I remember a year when we had several inches of snow on the ground for Halloween. "Hoth" costumes were the garb of choice that year.

	Keeping the "nervous eating" under control the next few days is going to be a test of my self-control. NONE of what I want to eat is good for me! The fact that there is an unusually large amount of chocolate candy, not to mention a smallish chocolate cake, in the house does NOT help!

	Stopped work on the project while eating dinner. Prowled Facebook instead and got thoroughly bored. The lion's share of what is being posted is "politics" and I'm sick to death with that subject. I'll watch the returns on Tuesday night -- I'm 100% sure which column Indiana will go in -- but you can be sure that I'll have some craft in my hands to keep them busy if it turns into a "nailbiter".... which I'm not expecting it to.

	In 48 hours we should be deep in election returns -- six hours after the polls close in Indiana. Hopefully I will NOT be biting my non-existent fingernails or eating all the chocolate I can get my hands on. (I should be fasting by that time like I am now.) 	Morning. We did a quick grocery run this morning and had lunch. We voted a couple of weeks ago so we won't be doing that tomorrow. We probably will check in at Walmart and then hunker down until the election results are in. I anticipate getting a lot done tomorrow -- nervous energy to work off ya know.....
