	Moonie forgot to empty the rain gauge and Spirit just brought it in. We've had 3.25 inches of rain since it started and I suspect most of it fell last night, given the number and depth of the puddles in the driveway.. The turkey continues to cook, the rain has resumed and I'm going to get off my feet.

	When I took the turkey out of the crockpot, it fell apart. I got the pieces out -- at least I won't have to spend as much time carving it as usual -- and tried to get the liner out. It was hot and spilled very hot broth all over the counter. I finally got the mess cleaned up, the meat put away and the bbq in the refrigerator. I almost forgot to eat. I had some leftover chicken and although I shouldn't have, I finished off a carton of vanilla ice cream. Needless to say, I haven't made any pies today. For one thing, no place to put them. I'll make them tomorrow. I'll just relax less.

	Dinner finally finished. Burned the apple pie in that damned "mini-oven". We should be able to salvage most of it. Exhausted. Going to eat and collapse.

	Afternoon. Busy morning and, as soon as the painkillers kick in, busy afternoon! I am currently indulging in *pie* -- I make very good pie -- since my morning fasting glucose readings are staying in the normal range, I figure I can indulge a little. Especially since I won't be indulging again until Christmas Day when there will be some cookies, maybe apple pie and definitely homemade cinnamon rolls around.

	Hot, sweaty and in pain. I've been in the basement moving things around to clear a space for the cabinet I'm building. The space I'd first picked to put it is too small so I had to go to my second choice which needed to be cleared out -- at least enough to put the finished pieces in place. A lot more clearing will need to be done to make room to assemble it. Tomorrow, Gods willing I'll get a trash can down there and start filling it. I won't fill it all the way -- I'd never get it out of the basement -- but it will hold a trash bag for easy filling and I should be able to get a half filled bag up the stairs. There are also a lot of cardboard boxes that can be broken down and recycled so I'll take a utility knife down with me. Right now, I'm going to do a quick cool-down and get started on dinner. I don't know when Skywise will get home but dinner should be ready before he gets here!

	I brought the first piece of the cabinet I'm building down from the Old House. Next step will be to get it downstairs and into position. The other two pieces got a coat of paint this afternoon. If they don't need a second coat -- I'll inspect them and decide tomorrow -- I'll bring them down and that phase of the "Cabinet Project" will be done until I get the wood for the back, sides and doors. If a second coat is needed, I'll be done with it by mid-week. It looks like the next project -- other than the ongoing scrapbook project -- will be doing some sewing. After that, I'll probably be working on the Wheel of the Year I've been designing. I also need a new belt. I'm going to be busy during the "Cold Times".

	The dishwasher is loaded and running. My back is letting me know it isn't happy with today's activities, specifically... getting the bottom of the cabinet down the stairs and into position. ouchie Getting prone is in my immediate future. I haven't decided about painkillers yet. I've been looking at "some assembly required" bookcases to put next to the cabinet. I'll order a set after I tell Skywise about it. You canNOT have too many bookshelves around here and I don't have time to build them from scratch. Maybe later but not now. I need to get the chaos in the basement under control so... shelves and massive throwing away of unnecessary stuff. For now, "prone" calls....
