	Afternoon. Skywise got in at 3:45 last night so we actually got a little more sleep this morning. We decided not to go to Greenwood today. The Saturday before Christmas is sure to be a madhouse and to judge from Walmart's parking lot -- we ate at the Arby's in town -- I was right so we were able to sleep later, not enough, but a little more. He's getting ready for work now. So far, no "orders" for more apple pie...

	Last night's "before bed" glucose reading was "just" below the lowest "normal" reading. This may have caused my difficulty seeing last night. I'll be watching for it tonight.

	Got some work done on a belt I'm making. I still have a way to go but once I get the stitching holes punched, it "should" go quickly: Punch. Dye. Stitch. And I'll have a bright red belt with black and white "topstitching."

	"Probably" figured out why my glucose was low last night. I didn't eat enough yesterday in general and for dinner when I took my pill in particular. I guess I'll have to make sure that I eat enough at dinner to keep that from happening again even if I don't feel like eating. sigh Skywise hasn't called yet -- no surprise -- and I'm heading out. Everyone sleep well, be safe and STAY HEALTHY!!!!

	Afternoon... almost evening. Skywise has been using this computer and this is my first chance to get on. I had to take painkiller when we got back from town. I'd been pushing a cart with a sticky wheel and it really aggravated my knees and they let me know it! I'm going to get caught up before I get started on dinner. I'm trying something new with an old favorite recipe. We'll see how it goes.

	Eating dinner. I made my signature beef stew with Keystone canned beef to see how it would "do". It "do" pretty good. It looks like a "pulled beef soup" but it tastes like it should and it gives me an option when fresh meat isn't on hand.

	Went out to look for the Jupiter/Saturn Conjunction. No luck. Too many clouds and trees. Skywise was able to see it at work. He went up to the second floor where there's a clear view of the horizon and the clouds parted long enough for him to see it. He took it as a good omen.

	Afternoon. Bake-A-Thon 2 will commence shortly. Only two pies this time, thank Hestia!! Knees are grinding like rusty hinges but I can't take anything. My blood was a bit runnier than I like this morning so.... no painkillers for me today and probably not for the rest of the week. DAMN I wish my prescription for GelSyn-3 would get here!

	Found a place in the yard where I could see the conjunction through the trees. Not as clearly as I would have liked but with it so low in the sky, it was the best I could do. Now.. to crash like the Hindenburg for about an hour give or take.

	Dinner's over. Waiting for Skywise to call. So damned glad that Bake-A-Thons for other people are over for the year! The next things I bake will be for us and no one else. I'd be doing more if the oven was working... Maybe we can get it working after the new year....

	Afternoon. Skywise and the pies are on the way. We FINALLY finished up some business at the bank. Because of staffing, we were the only people let into the bank. They had to unlock the doors for us and locked them as we left but they were determined to get our business done today since it had taken a LOT longer than it should have. I may or may not bake anything today. I might just concentrate on "clean up" and do baking tomorrow in a tidy kitchen with everything we don't need -- pie totes -- finally put away for the year. Right now, after heaving a big sigh of relief and collapsing into my chair, I'm going to drink tea and get caught up while waiting for UPS and the USPS deliveries.

	Dishes done. Packages wrapped. Gonna make cookies, sweet rolls and pulled beef bbq tomorrow. I'll make apple pie on Friday in time for dessert at dinner. Another "Cook-A-Thon" but for us this time!
