	Afternoon. Last day. Skywise is on his way to work. He's off tomorrow, something that was in doubt for a while. There will be a full crew working Christmas Day though which is unusual. It's seasonably cold. I'm going to catch up while I warm up. And Santa is already on the move. Currently over Yemen...

	sigh Just had to lesson someone on my FB friends list about the realities of mail processing and delivery. Now is NOT the time to get snippy with me. Currently baking cookies. Will be starting the cinnamon rolls shortly. I'll make the beef bbq while the sweet roll dough is rising.

	Morning! Merry Christmas!!! We have snow!!! Not enough to shovel but enough to qualify as a "white Christmas" so it's good! It is also COLD!! I am enjoying a cinnamon roll so I will have to be good the rest of the day but I figure that once/twice a holiday won't hurt me. Now to finish my roll and get started on dinner. First.... pie!

	Pie is in the oven. Once it's done, I'll fire up the crockpot. An annoying fact: I have three major electric cooking devices in my kitchen: the countertop oven, the crockpot and the microwave. I learned the hard way that I can only use ONE AT A TIME. If I try to use two, I trip the circuit breaker. I remembered this while I was luxuriating in bed this morning and realized that I had to bake the pie either before or after using the crockpot. So I got up before I was ready. sigh

	Afternoon. We had lunch in Greenwood and shopped at Half Price Books and Home Depot. Then we got the heck out of there before the crowds showed up! It's considerably warmer outside than it was yesterday so Skywise and the cats are out enjoying it although the cats are running in and out a lot. Post # 43,950

	Moonie made dinner -- chili -- and we're winding down. I need to wait a couple of hours before I check my glucose but there's a book calling my name so it won't be hard to stay up. Next week promises to be closer to "normal" in regards to Skywise's work schedule. fingers crossed.

	Lesson 1 hasn't arrived and I'm bummed about it. sniff I don't know if it just hasn't been sent or if, thanks to a software foul up somewhere, it was sent and I didn't get it. I'm going to hang on to my patience for another 24 hours before I start inquiring. If it was sent and I didn't get it, I don't want to get too far behind. Maybe it will come tomorrow....
