	Afternoon. It was a good day until we got home from town. The van is now stuck sideways in the upper quarter of the driveway. Skywise is working to get it out. He is not happy.....

	I AM NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The package that was on the truck and only 3 stops away on SUNDAY has been declared "UNDELIVERABLE" by Amazon. I've wasted two days waiting for it and NOW...............

	The van is now back up at the top of the driveway. The spot where it was stuck is a bit of a mess but that's a minor detail. We didn't hit any trees and THAT is the main thing!

	Skywise is on his way to work. He's STILL not happy. He had some things he wanted to do before he left that he didn't get to do because of the van. Hoping that tomorrow will work out better for him.

	I have a mild, persistent headache centered on my temples. Since I don't want to take any painkillers -- my blood is still a bit too runny for my comfort -- I'm going to go get prone and think calm/not stressful thoughts. Catch ya later.

	Moonie is working on dinner and I'm chillin' at the moment. My headache is some better -- I no longer feel like a C-clamp is being tightened on my temples. I'm sitting here looking at a stack of bills I need to write checks for. I'll get it done tonight but I'm going to put it off as long as I can. I don't mind the work, I just hate to see the balance go down....

	Afternoon. Things are going better today. No one got stuck in the driveway and the towing company did not need to be called. It is currently 57 degrees, down from 59, and the snow is melting at speed. The ground is still frozen a couple of inches down so we've exchanged snow for snowslop and mud. In short, it's still a mess but we've opened the house up a bit to get some fresh air in here.

	I need to decide what to eat so I can take my pill. Thing is, I've had no appetite since I started taking Metformin so unless I'm cooking for the family, deciding what to eat is chore. Right now, I don't feel hungry but I'm getting a "hunger headache". So I'm going to have to think of something so I can take my pill and it has to be enough to last until my next meal tomorrow morning. I don't snack after I take my pill so I can get a good "fasting" glucose reading in the mornings. sigh

	Afternoon. Skywise is on his way. The van is parked next to the house where it belongs. Spirit is very happy about that. I am too. Walking down the driveway with a bag of supplies is a literal pain when just getting myself to the house and up the steps is almost more than I can handle. So. The van is where it's supposed to be. No "winter" type weather is expected for the foreseeable future and I "should" be able to work on a project or two at the Old House now that I can get up there without risking falling and breaking something I can't afford to break! It is good....

	Skywise told me today that people at work are starting to ask when he's going to get knee replacement surgery. I told him that I'd been thinking about the same thing. He said: When I'm damned good and ready! Which is the same response when he's asked when he's going to retire. He has a friend up there who's had the surgery and he's telling Skywise things. Mainly, we won't be able to run with replacement knees but we can't run now so... He also says that during really cold weather like we've been having, the titanium steel knee joint gets very, very cold. Which makes sense since there isn't a lot of "insulation" around knee, hip and elbow joints as a rule. So.... extra knee warmers will be needed! I'll need to crochet leg warmers that go up to mid-thigh.

	Afternoon. Back from lunch. Nearly fell coming in the front door. HATE being "old" or at least "bad knees". Not looking forward to knee surgery when it's time but it's probably the only way I'll be able to live somewhat normally.

	In "new and innovative pain" probably from nearly falling this morning so I'm going to get prone and see if that helps as I want to avoid painkillers if I can. My blood is finally starting to be less runny and I'd like to keep it that way!

	Laying down helped. I had a devil of a time finding a position where my back/shoulder/neck didn't hurt but I found one and the rest helped. I've decided that I need to crochet a lap-robe for when I'm downstairs at the computer or any time I'm sitting down and concentrating. The Prince likes to get in my lap and knead my legs and that furry boy has some serious "murder mittens". He totally takes me out of whatever I'm trying to concentrate on. So! It's time to get out the yarn and hooks!

	Pill has been taken. Spirit is downstairs, screeching for help. Since she is also repeating lines of dialogue from some movie or cartoon and probably wearing headphones, I'm not concerned but it is unnerving!!
