	Afternoon. The morning was a bit hectic but everything got done that needed to be done before Skywise left. STILL suggesting names to our little visitor. So far, nothing. Divine Feline Intervention will be suggested later today. NOW to get caught up on everything else.

	I've been editing one of the lessons in my coursework. I've quit for the night 'cause not only is my brain tired but my shoulders ache. Methinks, I've been at this too long today. I'm trying to get the editing caught up. I wish I'd thought of transcribing the audio lessons to text sooner. I'm so far behind with it and another lesson is due Monday. I may be finished with "Level 2" -- which will be some time in 2022 -- before I get it all transcribed and edited.

	Afternoon. Lots to do today. Skywise has to work so my "To Do" list is longer than normal. I'm going to load up on painkiller and get as much done as I can and hope that I don't damage myself. Anything that I can do today is something that Skywise won't have to do tomorrow. I just wish I could do more....

	I have taken one of Skywise's prescription ibuprofen. I hope it works fast, my legs ache from ankle to hips and I have a lot of "on my feet" work to do.

	Major item on my To Do list is done. Not as "done" as I'd like but as good as I can do. "Do not let "perfect" be the enemy of "good"" has become my motto... or it is as long as I'm nearly crippled by arthritis....

	Stiffness is starting to set in. No pain yet but when the ibuprofen wears off I expect to be hurting in a major way. All over, not just my knees... I'll tackle the next big thing on my To Do list tomorrow while Skywise is cutting the grass -- which will take two weekends to get done. Thanks to it raining every weekend lately the damned stuff is nearly up to my knees in places. If I don't get my project finished tomorrow, I'll finish it on Monday. THEN I can tackle some smaller projects.

	Dinner is cooked and the girls and I have eaten. It's chili so it can be reheated for Skywise when he gets here. I've been editing a lesson but I've quit for the night. My brain is getting tired so I'm going to sit here and drink tea while I wait for Skywise to call.

	Yesterday's painkiller is finally wearing off -- it takes a while for such things to clear my system -- and I was right, I ache all over. I'm going to avoid taking anything until I'm sure that yesterday's dose is cleared out -- meaning not until everything hurts like hell! At least there's no bruise on my knee. Not yet anyway.

	Skywise is cutting the grass. The radar says it's raining but it's not reaching the ground so he's mowing while he can.

	The End of an Era. Skywise just finished cutting my hair to just above my shoulders. It hasn't been this short since I was in my early teens. We hated to do it but it had to be done. The ends were getting too wispy and it was NOT a good look. We cut off about 8 inches and what's left appears thicker. I'll be dyeing it tomorrow which should be easier now that there's less off it. Poor Spirit won't recognize me. She's never seen me without a ponytail since I've had my long hair tied back for most of her life....

	Afternoon. Our little furry houseguest went out yesterday and hasn't come back. Skywise thinks he may be checking out other possibilities in the neighborhood. "Possibilities" that don't have three older cats hissing at him. Can't blame him for that. If that's the case, I hope he finds a place where he can be the only cat or part of a friendly pride. If not, he's more than welcome here. Skywise is on his way to work, my next lesson is in and I'm going to dye my hair today. Gonna be a busy one.

	It feels weird to have short hair. Spirit wants my hair to grow. I think she misses my ponytail. I'm going to have a snack and then start dyeing my hair. That "should" make me look more like "me" even with short hair.

	So far, there have been no indignant hissing, spitting or yowling now that the Little Guy is back. It may be that SunLord doesn't know but the Prince and the girls do. Skywise hasn't called yet. 	Skywise hasn't called yet and I'm worried that it will be another long night like last night. That would be bad for the obvious reasons as well as we've planned to pay the property taxes tomorrow (Wednesday) which are due on the tenth. We would rather not wait until the last minute since the Treasurer's Office will be more and more crowded the closer we get to the tenth. We like to avoid crowds even when there isn't supposed to be a "pandemic".
