	Afternoon. We got 2⅛ ins. of rain last night. We're STILL waiting for Lord Purrington to come home. We're hoping that he's somewhere safe and warm while he decides where he wants to live. That's what we're telling ourselves anyway. I stayed up until 3:30 last night waiting for him....

	Afternoon. Skywise is on his way after a late and very fast trip to Wendy's for 'lunch". Currently working on making neat/decent copies of the sigils that are part of this week's coursework. Yes, summoning spirits are involved but not spirits that most are familiar with. I have a ways to go before I'm ready for summoning but I can and will learn all I can before I start. Including how to pronounce certain words and phrases which.... will take some practice.

	Earlier today, Lord Purrington was playing with a dead chipmunk that one of the others killed and left on the walk in front of the house while the Prince and Danger Princess observed. It looks like they are starting a training program for him. This is a good thing.

	Just took painkiller. I tripped while out in the yard. I managed not to fall but I strained just about everything and now I ache all over. So much for what I wanted to do today. I'm hoping that I'll be able to get some of it done once the painkiller starts working.

	Skywise has called and he's on his way. In feline news, Lord Purrington spent a part of the afternoon lounging/sleeping on/near the graves of his predecessors. Then he lounged in the seat of an old riding mower that's parked near the graves. Moonie and I have both noticed that since he stayed out all night, he's stayed closer to home. Maybe he's finally made up his little furry mind about where he wants to live.... I got a few things done today but not as much as I wanted. Story of my life these days. Any way, I'm heading out. 	Afternoon. Skywise has been working on this computer all morning. For some reason, the email isn't getting through. It's showing up on my laptop and on the downstairs computer. It comes through on this computer when we log in with Safari but not when we use Firefox. He thinks things got screwed up when Firefox updated the last time. I absolutely HATE it when the damned thing updates whenever it feels like it and refuses to wait until it's convenient. So far, the software is giving Skywise the runaround and he doesn't have time to beat it into submission today. So... he's going to work on it over the weekend. Post # 44,700

	The pain is back sooner than expected but Skywise has called and he's on his way. He has the next 10 days off and we're going to get a lot done around here starting tomorrow. 	Skywise has finished the major part of the porch repair. He's hot and exhausted but pleased. There's still a lot to be done which should take another day or two to finish. Then, it's on to the next project.

	Afternoon. I was so tired last night that I forgot to sign out. Skywise was so tired he shut everything down before we checked my glucose and we had to restart everything. Anyway, he's got the first coat of water seal on the porch floor and I have the first huge load of laundry in the machine. Now, I'm going to go get my legs straight....

	It's hot. My clothes are soaked with sweat after walking to the Old House and back. I am NOT handling "heat" well. It's supposed to get near 90 tomorrow. A/C may be required.

	There and Back Again.... Again! We had to make a return. But.... we got DQ out of the trip which was nice. DQ treats have been in short supply since the DQ in town closed and the owner wasn't able to open a new site. Damned zoning board!
