	Okay, looks like the migraine train has been derailed. Considering the amount and kind of painkillers currently in my system, I don't expect to be in much pain today. Skywise called and told me about an unexpected and unannounced -- at least where we could find out about it -- detour on his route to work. He had to double back MILES to get to 135 and get to the city that way. NOT a happy man... At least he knows to take that route home tonight.....

	Skywise has called and he's on his way. NOT sure if he'll be able to use his regular route though. Damned interstate construction! I'll start watching for him in about 20 minutes or so. 	Skywise's present has finally arrived. (I'll be glad when the local post office is able to replace the carrier who retired recently. Might get our mail before sundown then.) And having inspected it, I'll order a custom item for myself. Our new radios arrived yesterday. I just disconnected them from the chargers. Tomorrow, will be their first field test.

	Afternoon. Another hot, muggy day with tiny popup showers appearing and disappearing at random. Skywise likes his present. He's been wearing it since last night. We used the new radios today. Some adjustments were needed and we'll probably be fine tuning things for a while. There are more privacy codes on these so there's less chance of someone using the same combination of channel and code that we do. Now to get caught up... on everything sigh

	We've had three inches of rain in the last couple of days. And "popup" showers are still popping up. One just started moving through while Moonie was checking the rain gauge....

	The rain started up again and we had minor thunderstorms moving through for about two and half hours. The rain has stopped -- again -- and the sun's out. According to radar, it should be dry for the rest of the night. I certainly hope so! Post # 44,789

	Afternoon. Been busy 'cause.... IT AIN'T RAINING!! Granted, it's still pretty wet and humid -- although the humidity is dropping -- but we've been able to do some project planning in spite of that. Now to eat the apple turnover Moonie got for me and get caught up.

	Afternoon. We took the car into the shop this morning. I was a nervous wreck. I had nightmares about driving most of the night. I'm better now. My lesson has come in. It's rather complex. Fortunately, I won't be able to do it until the next Dark/New Moon which is in July so I'll have time to get familiar with what I'll be doing. Now to get some fresh tea, get caught up and calm down. 	Afternoon. Back from town. Had to stop at the bank again. We got another "past due" notice yesterday that we weren't supposed to get. The guy handling our account was NOT pleased. He called the processing center and made another attempt to get things straightened out. We have a plan now and we'll see what happens when the payment is due and supposed to be autopaid out of our account. My lungs are unhappy. I think I'm going to need my N-96 mask for a while...
