	Afternoon. Skywise is almost ready to leave and it's time for me to get caught up and then get to work. The cats are NOT going after the mouse or mice in the kitchen and "evidence" keeps turning up. So.... today's main chore is cleaning the kitchen counters AND the sink. I keep hoping that the mouse/mice will get desperate enough or brave enough to go after the cats' food. Maybe THEN they'll go after it/them.

	Still cleaning in the kitchen. The more I clean the more "evidence" I find. The cats have gotten WAY too lazy....

	STILL have more cleaning to do but I made some progress today. Dinner is almost ready for which I'm glad. I'm not very hungry but I want to get the eating out of the way so I can get things under control in the kitchen before I go to bed tonight. I really wish/hope that mouse would start raiding the cats' food. -- and I'm doing what I can to make that happen -- so the lazy hairballs will do their jobs!

	Afternoon. Skywise is on his way to work. I'm getting caught up before I dive into kitchen cleaning. Gonna be doing some rearranging too. Dinner is going to be soup left over from Sunday so that's taken care of. Corrupt politicians -- mostly Democrats but not exclusively -- are scared of Trump despite him being out of office because they know he has MASSIVE public support and more proof that the election was stolen comes out every single day. It makes my heart glad....

	Skywise is coming around to the idea that we need a kitten, preferably two so they can grow up together. At least one of them should be black and able and willing to hunt and kill mice. It's pretty clear that LP isn't coming back. We guess that he decided that his original home base was better since they didn't keep him inside and give him icky medicine. Or it "could" be that his people, having not seen him for nearly a week while we were giving him his medicine, have decided that he should be an "indoor" kitty. Either way, we believe that he went back to the home where he learned to love people and is safe and happy there. We miss him though.... Post # 44,955

	I HATE this Gods be damned printer!! It gets a bug up its electronic butt and refuses to shut off no matter what commands I give it! And shifting back and forth from where it is and where the computer is -- which is where it's turned on, off and told what to print and how -- really HURTS tonight! Moonie had to be my legs to get it shut off.

	I've given up! I have just ordered four humane "catch and release" mouse traps. They should be delivered Saturday. They will be set around the kitchen and hopefully, our mouse problem will be solved. I got four traps because a.) I got a price break on four, b.) I don't know where the mouse is hiding and where it's entering the kitchen and c.) there could be more than one mouse!! The captured mouse/mice will be taken far, FAR from the house and released. If it/they decide to come back, hopefully the cats will intercept them!

	Afternoon. I spent the night coughing, probably due to air quality -- which was lousy. I wore a N-95 mask when we went to town and it did help. I've just put it back on since I'm starting to cough again. Didn't get much sleep. A nap is in my future. Skywise is on his way to work. I'm going to get caught up before I collapse

	Afternoon. Back from Saturday errands which included a milk run. It's hot, humid and my lungs don't like the air. I haven't checked but if the Heat Index isn't in the triple digits, it should be! Right now, I'm attempting to cool off before I start the day's chores....

	The mouse traps have arrived! We'll load them with peanut butter and leave them out tonight. We "should" have trapped one or more mice by morning since I've been very careful to put away anything a mouse could munch on....

	UPDATE: THE MOUSE IS CAUGHT!! Skywise was closing up the kitchen when it came out, saw him, ducked back into hiding and then went for the bait! The trap worked as intended and the mouse was caught! Moonie is taking it outside to release it. I'm going to leave the rest of the traps out in case there's another one.

	Afternoon. And there was another mouse. It was caught and released this morning. So far, we haven't caught any more. I'm going to leave the traps out tonight and maybe through tomorrow, just in case. Then I'll clean them up and put them away until the cats alert us to another intruder. We slept in this morning then went to lunch, hence the late posting. NOW to find out if there's going to be any relief ftom this lousy air quality.....
